You clearly are seeing the issue differently because you're black, and you can thus empathise with Evra in a way that many people in this site just can't, because they've never faced prejudice due to the colour of their skin. Doesn't make Evra right though.

I also think that if Suarez was from England, then he wouldn't have a leg to stand on and there would be a lot less willingness to see it in from an understanding perspective. There is no doubt that the cultural issue clouds the issue, provides a grey area.

Yeah but surely if you have any level of intelligence you should be able to look above the bias and acknowledge if something is wrong .

And yeah if you've been abused over your skin colour before you can probably empathise more with Evra (if the allegation proves true) but again you should be smart enough to understand why it's wrong and upsets people even if you've never 'felt it' yourself .
