The right side?

I haven't watched the game yet, but from the little I have read and heard, the opposition seem to target our right side.
How would you fix that?

Milner and the fountain of youth or we need to find our right sided Tsimikas to challenge Trent

Get Trent back and fit. Buy an able deputy as we done smartly with Tmiskas.
To be fair to Milner, he is a great option in 90% games but City are just different class so just have to expect that.

We can't buy anyone till Jan? What about Gomez on the right? Could Tsimikas play on the right? Millie at 36 can only play so many games

Midfield needs to help out on that side. Tactically we push Mo up further and don't ask him to track back as much, so we need Hendo to tuck in as support. Why we didn't have a midfielder helping to double up on Foden is beyond me.

Yes, this.

It's the same problem / answer when TAA plays. He ventures forward a lot and is not the best defensive fullback in the world so he needs the team to give him the right support so that we don't get punished.

Henderson at his best is good at providing that cover. Today he was rubbish, as was Fabinho. I guess you could argue that they were up against one of the best midfields in the game right now but they should've been better than they were.

As we knew in the summer, we're a quality midfielder short.

I could have lived with us being beaten by City's skill out wide but it was tough to see us not attempt to crowd Foden out. Can only think it was deliberate to avoid acres of space for De Bruyne and Rodri in the middle. But once Milner kept getting rinsed, I think we needed to adjust.

I have decided we should fast-track Bradley into the team.

I reckon him flinging out pizzas will keep opposition players busy enough.

If we bought another quality midfielder, that would have meant Jones wouldn't have played. I think he needs game time and to play these type of games to realize his potential.

There is that but then we need to adjust our expectations accordingly.
