i wouldn't be averse to this, he really needs games now. He seems such a likeable lad I'd love him to come good with us.
its never gonna happen though. If it was it would have happened by now. He's so far the pecking order that he needs to find himself another club. Its like he's gone backwards.

Maybe he will turn into another Coutinho (Inter - Espanyol - Inter). That's said with hope rather than expectation though.

Excited that Samba signed for #QPR. His love of the blue & white hoops & his commitment & passion to saving R's is compelling.

Can't we loan or sell Pacheco to Norwich again? Or at least to Villa who seem contented to buy young players from the lower divisions? Loan to a Segunda Division side? Com'on, he's not a star, but surely he's not that bad.

I must say I think the most impressive buyers (In relation to their need and who they have bought) are Newcastle.
To go and find value across in France (at a risk) rather than sign premier league plodders like Crouch, Jenas, Samba etc.

Obviously its a greater risk, but a better investment.

SSN saying:

Stoke are apparently discussing a sub-£4m plus two loans going to Birmingham for Butland. Ryan Shotton is one of the loans.

The interesting bit is that Stoke will buy Butland and then loan him straight back to Brum

Rumours abound that we are going to cancel Doni's contract today
I hope someone makes a statement about what happened in that transfer as it currently has the potential to turn into an urban legend like the time Everton signed the wrong player.

SSN back tracking now and saying Ryan Shotton 100% not part of deal

My favourite is when Souness signed someone purporting to be George Weah's cousin for Southampton - on the strength of a faxed reference "from" Weah's.

Even brought him on as a sub once - only to hook him shortly after - having realised he was a pub standard player on the blag.

Ali something...wasn't it? Remember that, funny as a dog with sunglasses.
