Not heard much about him, but everyone here reckons he's rather good! Probably getting him because we won't agree to the extra dosh for Ince.
he's a tidy little striker alright, hopefully he'll do well (if we get him)

Exactly. Potentially a good player but I prefer the gameiro link

And the ZIDANE SON LINK!!!!!!

Hearing that Gamerio coming to us is all part of the Suarez deal.

I sense a whoosh, but I haven't been following things but is there talk about Suarez going?

Or are you just pissing on every-bodies cornflakes.
You know from before Brad that my source is impeccable.

According to Appleton, the Reds did place a bid for Ince, who was a Liverpool youth player, two weeks ago but it did not meet the club's valuation of the player.
And in a potential statement of intent from the Seasiders, Ince was picked to start against Fulham on Saturday in a 1-1 draw in the FA Cup, meaning the 20-year-old is cup tied, should he move club, for the rest of the season.

"He [Ince] is going through an indifferent period because of all the speculation but he is coping with it really well," Appleton said. "I know how difficult it can be, so he has to take credit for that and I am sure that once the speculation settles down, his performances will pick up again.

"Liverpool made an offer two weeks ago but we have not received anything since. It was a case of,

'That's not enough. You'll have to do better if you want him'.

"Until that changes, he will stay here.''

Hope he stays.

Great. Suarez to PSG with some £6m no-mark coming in his place as a makeweight. If Suarez leaves in summer, we're pretty screwed. We will have zero world class players and we're hardly going to attract any.

Lol.

A summary of all the big fat hairy bollocks relating to players:

Benat Etxebarria – From Real Betis

The 25 year old Spanish international has 18 months left on his contract, and Rodgers could be tempted to try convince FSG to meet his buyout clause of €20m (around £16m) if he chooses to strengthen his midfield.

Eduardo Vargas – From Napoli

The 23 year old Chilean striker could be on the move this window. Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are mentioned as possible destinations based on previous claims by his agent, Cristian Ogalde. According to TalkSport, Brazilian club Sao Paulo are also interested.

“I do not know if this is the last we’ll see of Vargas at Napoli,” Ogalde told Radio Gol. “That all depends on the club. It is very likely that he’ll leave though. That decision however, is entirely down to them. The player just wants to play again in order to feel important.”

Micah Richards – From Manchester City

According to TuttoMercato, Liverpool are interested in signing the versatile 24 year old defender. With Pablo Zabaleta being the clear first choice and Maicon providing more than decent backup, his opportunities at right back could be limited; and with the likes of Kompany, Lescott and Nastasic in the centre, he could be tempted to move in order to get more first team football.

Tom Ince – From Blackpool

After Liverpool’s initial interest seemed to cool down due to clubs not being able to agree on a fee, Ince senior has now joined Tom in showdown talks with Blackpool to push through a move. Yesterday The Mirror claimed Liverpool have made a £5m offer and are willing to go higher, but negotiations are made complicated because of the issue with the 10 per cent sell-on fee the player is due.

Ince played against Fulham in the FA Cup today, which could indicate he will stay put this window.

And the rest…

Liverpool are reportedly close to signing 21-year-old defender Nicolas Isimat-Mirin from Valenciennes. PSG are also interested.

Palermo’s Slovenian playmaker Josip Ilicic has been linked to Liverpool, but the rumours have been rubbished by his agent.

Schalke’s central defender Benedikt Höwedes has put contract talks on hold. The Liverpool linked 24 year old has 18 months left on his contract.

Rumours circulating about Kevin Gameiro having agreed to join Liverpool on loan, but the move depends on whether PSG allow him to leave or not.

You can laugh but I really am sceptical that we are going to get anywhere near the top in the next few years. We've just spent £12m on Sturridge, who has done zero other than underwhelm at Chelsea and not get in the team, whilst they are now signing Isco, one of the hottest properties in European football, for £3m more.

None of Rodgers signings have proven to be particularly inspired. We're linked with Ince, who again has done nothing at top level, and these players are supposed to make up the difference with the top 4? Plus we are paying substantial sums for these guys. No way is Sturridge a £12m player.

We're all really hoping that Sturridge proves to be the player we think he can be but if he were, he'd probably have done that at Chelsea before now. If I recall him correctly, he was pretty selfish and wasteful. Let's hope he's suddenly changed. We go through this same cycle every time of trying to convince ourselves that these players are suddenly going to be revelations despite the fact they've done nothing to ever suggest it (Downing/Henderson/Borini and to a lesser extent Allen). They might turn out alright but we need players who are going to become world class and none of our recent signings or apparent targets show that capability.

Yes and the hottest properties in European football are not queuing up to be signed by a team that finished 8th in the EPL last year, and with no real prospect of CL football.
We therefore have to pay a premium to get players that can only really offer potential to play for us, that's the gamble.
Sturridge has had pretty big hitters in his way at Chelsea, it's hardly surprising he has not been in with a shout. When he has had a run of games he will do well.
As for Downing Henderson and Borini, I certainly did not see any of them as revelations. Downing I thought might be a slightly better than average winger, I was largely wrong up until a couple of weeks ago, I had not taken any notice of Henderson, who I still think has some potential, likewise Borini. I did think Carroll might be a decent signing, and on occasions he looked like he could play. He is not in Rogers plans and that's that.
This is not an easy task and it may not be a quick one, it will take patience and guile.
On the other hand, if Sturridge proves sooner rather than later to be the player we hoped, Suarez maintains his form, Gerrard continues his awakening from his slumbers, Sturridge's presence takes pressure off Suarez and Sterling and Raheem continues to develop and other signings arrive and there is competition in midfield, the defence is as good as anyone on it's day, who knows we could sneak fourth , and if we do it makes signing quality much easier.
We have by all accounts had a shit season so far, but there we are, 8th place seven points off fourth and with only one fit and capable striker, and five points off the blueshite who are having a fantastic season apparently.
We need to get real and realise we can't pick up players other clubs are even for the same money CL for some reason is the be all and end all for top players.

I keep saying this but not bringing in at least one striker in August was criminal.
