In the next few minutes I will tweet extracts of an exclusive interview with Fernando Torres
Torres talks about openly about his feelings, how low he was this season (“never felt like this before”)
Torres also mentions that he wants a talk with the board about his future

Asamoah would be great. I remember starting a thread on him a couple of years back. Would be excellent alongside Lucas.

He is decent, but that good?

My list for links to make me happy (that's realistic) : dembele, asamoah, Kagawa, kalou (fuck haters), Rhodes, belhanda (not too realistic), giovinco, jovetic, strootman, piatti, neymar

how is belhanda not realistic, and jovetic and strootman are!!!

neymar is nailed on, so it's valid

Jovetic hasn't been getting much hype recently and no one is even mentioning strootman in England. Normally when players aren't getting mentioned they're slightly attainable as the media isn't instigating a bidding war.

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce wants to bring former Hammer Joe Cole back to Upton Park after the club won promotion back to the Premier League. Cole has spent the last season on loan at Lille from Liverpool.

I texted my mate minutes after they won saying we'd just got a buyer for cole. He's a perfect fit.

Yep.
We get Cole off the wage bill(one of the highest earners apparently), he gets regular football where it all started for him and West Ham bring back a fans favourite. Everyone's a winner.

We should sign Alan Dzagoev.

Had Russia qualified for World Cup 2010, he would have had the chance to showcase his talents and would have been snapped up by a big club already.

Watch out for the kid at Euro12 ... whoever does sign him will have to fork out around at least 15M.

Norwich have apparently made an official approach for Liverpool's Dani Pacheco regarding a perm deal.

What's with the AMadrid deal (who in turn loaned him to Vallecano this season)? On a sidenote, he's featuring in Adam Drury's testimonial tomorrow.

ADAM Drury's Testimonial Committee are delighted to confirm that Darren Huckerby will join other hugely popular former Canary stars in featuring for City in Tuesday night's testimonial clash against Scottish champions Celtic at Carrow Road (ko 7.45pm).

Huckerby will be joined by Dani Pacheco, Henri Lansbury and Michael Nelson together with the Canaries' current Barclays Premier League stars for what promises to be a memorable night.

The Norwich squad for Drury's testimonial clash is:

Declan Rudd, Jed Steer, George Francomb, Kyle Naughton, Adam Drury, Elliott Ward, Ryan Bennett, Leon Barnett, Elliott Bennett, Korey Smith, Andrew Surman, Anthony Pilkington, Simon Lappin, Bradley Johnson, Jonny Howson, David Fox, Wes Hoolahan, James Vaughan, Aaron Wilbraham, Grant Holt, Henri Lansbury, Dani Pacheco, Michael Nelson, Darren Huckerby.

West Ham co-chairman David Gold has played down hopes Joe Cole could make a 'romantic' return to Upton Park this summer.

The out-of-favour Liverpool midfielder is on the radar of Premier League clubs after a successful season-long loan at French club Lille.

The 30-year-old has been linked with a second spell at newly-promoted West Ham.

But Cole insists he has unfinished business at Anfield.

And Gold admitted he was not on Sam Allardyce's summer shopping list.

'It's going to be a busy summer,' he said. 'Joe Cole moving to West Ham would be a fantastic and romantic thing to happen but I would be very, very surprised.

'He didn't come up on Sam Allardyce's list of players he wants to sign a couple of months ago.

'Whether that's still the case, only time will tell.'

Cole made 150 appearances for the East London club before leaving for Chelsea in a £6.6m deal in August 2003.

That's peanuts for Baines.

And I agree with Roopy. Dzagoev is a talent. So we'll sign Jamie O'Hara.

Baines is very good player. Suprised City haven't been sniffing around. He is better than Clichy and Kolarov.

A. Cole is better and had a knack of keeping Ronaldo quiet for club and country.

On a side note, always thought Dirk used to do a number on Cole any time they lined up against each other.

Baines is a fantastic LB too though. Alaba of Munich and the Valenica LB Jordi Alba are decent players too.
