That only mattered to me if Tampa got to the Finals in hockey. Which, after tonight, they did not. So, I am not booking airfare to Florida right now. I am burying my sorrows in a heap of Jack Daniels.
(How awesome would games 3 + 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals + game 3 of the NBA Finals + Axwell from Swedish House Mafia and Fedde le Grand in Miami have been for a week away from work on a week's notice.... ? I can only dream....)

Heat up 1-0, 92-84 ... Call it Miami defense at the end, or terrible Dallas offense ... That's 5 straight losses to the Heat in the final ... I think next game is must win or the Heat will win this series.

That last game was all the more hilarious for the James-Wade Axis of Cuntery taking the piss out of Dirk before the game regarding his health, and then Wade hurts himself and has to sit half the game out. I chuckled.
Dirk having one of the worst halves of his career ... Really really bad (1-11 I think, or 12) and the Mavs are still up at HT. If he can just get it going ...

I've never been that interested in the NBA before, but the playoffs this year have really spiked my interest.
I know I was cheering Lebron but it's still nice to see an organisation that's done things the right way succeed.
And Nowitski is as likeable and admirable as our own Dirk.

The draft is this evening. I have heard some rumors that the Spurs are looking to trade Tony Parker to get a top ten pick. Very interesting.
