I like Rodgers a lot. I think he's doing a good job and I hope he can improve the team and stay for a long time. But I have to say the envelope thing was one of the dumbest things I have ever seen. Just ridiculous.

I was wondering whether people are starting to re-interpret last season based on arrivals and departures (rumored and actual) since the season ended.

For example, and I'm not criticizing you @RafiaNow that Rodgers has got rid of them there's a temptation to look back in a way that's favorable to Rodgers and say that these are people that he clearly always doubted. When in fact, it's probably not the case at all.

Oh, and I was trying to stir things up a bit more.

Apparently it's some crap trick Mourinho did when he first went to Chelsea. I heard Fergie also did it years ago.
