Calm down everyone, the criteria for this award was something like July 2020 to August 2021. Mo's latest heroics were not reflected in that award, but will surely be reflected in next year's.

Stan Collymore... we signed him when I was becoming more and more aware of footy. Was he any good? I remember the talk of him was that he had all the talent in the world, but was a nutter

That’s how i remember him. Could do absolutely anything. Went mental.

Remember him saying that when he got bought for a then British record transfer fee by Liverpool, he thought there'd be a plan for him - but no-one even met him at lime st station, or had anywhere for him to stay. He was like, hang on, if a factory had just spent 9 million quid on a new piece of kit there'd be a business plan and a training schedule and people looking after it... And he had a point. That obv doesn't happen anymore. He was 24 and lived with his mum when we signed him. Definitely needed more cuddles from LFC

You're kidding me right?
I remember seeing Collymore play for Nottingham, scoring some fantastic goals. He had so much power in his shot, his strike was world class and I'm not even kidding. Didn't even need to wind up, just "boom".
I was over the moon when he joined Liverpool, he quickly became my favourite player. That partnership with Fowler should have won us the premier league.

Just looking at his assist record. Now I've accused him of being greedy, but all bar 1 season he has had 10 or more assists in the PL. This season is set to be his best already at 9 assists. His PL tally is 122 goals and 47 assists. Now compare that to Kane, his career PL tally is 167 goals 39 assists.

Gotta be honest, the last month he's been playing as if he's agreed a new deal. He's still an incredible player, but he's dropped from a god to a mere mortal.
