all I care about is 4th (in the league) beyond that I couldn't give a fuck.
benitez stopped caring about that thing when he rested players for who did we even play again? fucking hell that tells you everything. benifica? i can't even remember it's gone.

but yeah, he stopped caring and last week he practically resigned himself to failure. so what is it that makes you still care?
Maybe the fact that we care more about LFC than he does..?

Should have stopped after "LFC", old mate, or ended the sentence "than about slating the manager". Disagree with Rafa by all means, but the guy's commitment can't seriously be in doubt.

happy as i really dont want city to take fourth.
If we had a chance, I'd agree.

Gomez seems to be having another one of those days where he stops everything. Cunt.

I know I am trying to comfort myself and as much as I don't want the Mancs to steal our record the best way for that to happen would be for it to be grabbed from their grasp.

No point in letting their aspirations wither and die away, when they can be shot down in one great fatal blow, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

I am becoming desperate, aren't I?

the difference between bale and insua is pretty stark
haha and people were saying Bale wasn't up to it not so long ago.

He's fucking quality and was always going to be.

Was he always this good?

No.

They are both the same age and have both had there fair share of critics. The difference is that Bale wasn't played every game despite his poor form and had a chance to get away from the negative attention. Rafa has hung Insua out to dry by not having cover for left back.

Unless Chelsea can stage a remarkable comeback, all of a sudden we need Tottenham to become invincible and defeat both of the Manchesters in their upcoming fixtures and take 4th place. That will make our result against Chelsea irrelevant so if we lose (through saving ourselves for the Europa final) it denies Utd the title.

What a miserable way to end our season.

You can't really blame Rafa for sicknote to get injuried whilst running.

And as always when the going gets tough Drogba goes missing.

He does it time and time again in the crunch games.

Dawson has him in his back pocket.

this season has been a complete and utter disaster

It's been shambolic from start to finish.
Urmm yes it has..
Anelka to score 😉

It's not like Fabio's injury record is a new thing so selling Dossena without getting some cover was not a smart move.

Regarding this season, I think we should rest players ahead of Europa league games and make winning that the priority over chasing a dream on finishing 4th. Next season we should only play our squad players in Europa league if we win it this year and concentrate on the league.

I fucking hate relying on other to do us a favour as more often then not they don't. we have no one to blame but ourselves for our league position and for the mancs for overtaking our record
