According to the Mirror, Sunderland want him on loan.
Would be a good move for him but we're short in attack as it is.

A bit enigmatic, old chap!

Here's the 'story,' an Alan Nixon special:

Liverpool flop Fabio Borini is wanted by Sunderland, writes Alan Nixon of the Sunday People.
The Italian had a hard time with the Anfield giants last season - his first in English football - and will be allowed to move on loan to recapture his form.
Sunderland boss Paolo Di Canio, waiting to offload Stephane Sessegnon, hopes to speak to his fellow countryman on Sunday.
Borini wants first-team action but is aware that Kop boss Brendan Rodgers is closing in on a loan deal for Chelsea attacker Victor Moses.
Chelsea are wary about strengthening a rival for a Champions League place - especially as their former player Daniel Sturridge has proved a big hit at Anfield - but Moses could still be allowed to switch.

what the fuck is going on with this lad ?. we paid 11m for him ,he was in the italian squad at the time , surely he must have something about him but from day 1 he's looked gash here . was this a complete cluster fuck of a signing ?

Yeah mate, thats as close to a non story as you can get 🙂
I just read the tweet and thought it was a bit more in it than this.

Would be a good move for him though if we had the strenght in depth.

A loan move would do him a world of good. With Moses (most probably) coming in, all the more he seems to be the odd man out in our forward line.

Not in the starting line up to day.. so looks like this could happen..

Strangle it will leave us a little light up top... unless we are bringing in another forward 😀

Definitely sell him, he is big time average. He really doesn't offer much on the pitch that we couldn't get better elsewhere.

I quite like Borini. He's hardly had a decent run in the first team, thanks to injuries, so a loan move to a sane manager might help him.
