Bluebell this is the most bizarre shit I have ever read. It boils down to "Thank God the club wasn't successful with Rodgers as manager as that would have prevented us getting Klopp to make us successful" ... can you see the flaw in your "logic"?

If you think the hiring of Uncle Roy was the main reason why Hicks and Gillet failed, then you're entitled to that opinion. My view is that had Rogers won the League, Rogers stay at LFC would have been longer, and Klopp would have probably ended up somewhere else. So that slip cost us a league, but it meant we got Klopp, the bounty we received so far

"Uncle Roy" was the nickname given to Roy Evans when he became manager in the 90s. As for Rodgers, he had ample opportunity to maintain the standards of that near-miss season and have another go at the title, but failed miserably.
