Not sure it’s that clever. It’s like calling Trump and Vance’s canvassing smart.Hahahahaha. It's not hatred, it's just a clever way of severely underappreciating one of the top forwards to ever play for us.
He’s been declining since his first season with us but still would have him above every striker since though…He's objectively the best right forward. We've not been playing with right forwards for ages though. He's not an exceptional winger. It's odd, thinking about all the players who might have done worse or better in other eras, given their skill set. Same with what teams they were on.
He's also more comparable to a striker than not, in that for years now, he's the player with the least defensive or off the ball responsibility, and is most likely to have the ball at the end of any move.
In terms of actually being able to be better than him, in a similar position, for me it'd be Henry and Suarez. That's about it in our league, in my memory.
You can call it hatred if you like, by the way, but he is still clearly declining. I think we can get good production out of him all year. Not the way it's going so far though. Chiesa is not helping, and is looking like one of those cheap maybe it will work solutions for necessary backup, instead of having some ambition.
As I mentioned elsewhere, a decline in sheer acceleration and pace has resulted in a more thoughtful player who now uses his exceptional passing skills to more effect, as well as his trickery and shooting skills around the box which are barely in decline if at all. This may well have resulted in a better all round 'team' player. We'll see by the end of the season. You can call it hatred if you like, by the way, but he is still clearly declining. I'm not sure what 'having some ambition' means in this context. No high quality goal-scoring winger will want to come here and sit on the bench, especially since Salah is supremely fit and rarely gets injured (likely because he pulls out of so many winnable 50/50s, not a criticism if it keeps him fit for us)!Chiesa is not helping, and is looking like one of those cheap maybe it will work solutions for necessary backup, instead of having some ambition.
Give it a rest, it's become more than tedious.Imagine how many he’d have if he wasn’t a greedy selfish wasteful bastard!
Not nearly as tedious as the shite spouted about Salah for the last 10 months.Give it a rest, it's become more than tedious.
Railing against it when it's said/posted is one thing but continually digging digging digging when no-one has said anything to the contrary is something else and a bit childish TBH.Not nearly as tedious as the shite spouted about Salah for the last 10 months.
Childish behaviour on this forum? Never!Railing against it when it's said/posted is one thing but continually digging digging digging when no-one has said anything to the contrary is something else and a bit childish TBH.

Ofcourse we did considering what the Saudis offered and knowing the owners wont add their own money for squad additions. Look at now, we face the prospect of losing him for no returnSo this is essentially just a point scoring exercise for you? His numbers have never been questioned, at no point has anyone said he needs to get more goals/assists, create more chances etc. It's easier to put to the back of the mind how poor his general play has been in a number of games over the last 18 months when he's still popping up with the goods, doesn't change the perception many had of him and the fact 80% of SCM posters wanted him sold last summer.
Actually yes plenty have repeatedly. It’s not point scoring at all. It’s pointing out how bloody incredible he is so that when he has an inevitable dip like any player (Haaland now) people might think twice before circling the wagons on him.So this is essentially just a point scoring exercise for you? The point is amongst is, certain players are due some slack at times. He will have a period like probably post Jan when he will look borderline useless but best to consider how he has done so far and before for a fair picture. I thought was rather ridiculous that end result was 80% especially with the bigger picture but that’s another can of worms…
There is criticism but that wasn't just that.Well maybe fans have the club's future in their minds and not tender to the needs of Salah? That's the bigger picture here. It's LFC not Salah FC. Our owners don't invest, they don't have ambitions for this club to be at the top and they realise our best shot is to sell big and hit the jackpot.
Every player in the history of the sport have to deal with criticism unfortunately, that's just how it is. Mbappe, Kane, Vini, Benzema, Messi etc - no player is immune when their standards drop the level they set. What he did 5-6 years ago was world class, but that was then and this is now......as the sport evolves, the demands of fans grows and have made them ruthless, they're not going to care about that when judging him now because the Salah of then is very different to the Salah of now......although this season he has much improved in his overall play from the last 18months 😛
The Egyptian national team, led by Hossam Hassan, has decided to exempt Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool player, from being with the team in the November camp.
A source explained in exclusive statements to Al-Shorouk that Hossam Hassan decided to exempt Mohamed Salah from the national team's upcoming camp.
The source indicated that the decision to rest Salah came because our national team will play its first match on an artificial turf pitch, and the second match against Botswana will be played at Cairo International Stadium, and it is not normal to call Salah up to play one match.
He's told them he's signing an extension with Liverpool and one of the conditions is that he either significantly reduces his time on the national team or retires altogether.
Bit disappointed he didn't choose the latter
