The Donkey

I’m just going to like you both equally, thanks for sharing the meme.

I heard Darwin said “do you like that” or something to Guardiola because he did the shhh thing to Kostas previously. I’d prefer he do that if we won.

Looks like he's about to shoot Ethan Hawke

I’ve just moved to Okinawa last month!
Enjoying the tropics. You’re a bit late for Momiji I think? If I’m in Tokyo for an office visit or whatever when you’ve come, I’d certainly be happy to meet up again!
All the websites are saying around the 10th is peak for Kyoto (later this year because of the hot weather) so we're planning something like 5th to 15th.

Okinawa (we won't bother going to Tokyo this trip) is on the list for another time - jealous !

One of the poorest countries in the world, yet it's unlike any I've been to. It's just a uniquely beautiful country but most importantly, has one of the most beautiful and nicest people i've met anywhere else.

Um yes the nicest but also the most prone to excessive violence when you do cross the line? Be careful out there!

Wait, that's it? Bit underwhelming.

Was hoping more for something along the lines of "Sit down and shut the fuck up you bald headed cheating fraud" or "your mother's a fucking whore house" ... oh well.

Haha oh come on. Most of that wasn't even played in our half and I think only one tackle just outside our 18m! It is impossible to tell a 'real #6 performance' from that. No matter how well he played.

I guess you meant to comment under my post about Endo... anyway, actually what reminded me of Fabinho was his ability to intercept/win the ball high up the pitch, to help us restart the attack immediately after one broke down. Fabinho at his peak was a master of that, much like Endo he was never quick, but always found the right moment to pounce because of his excellent reading of the game and also found the right pass every time after winning possession.

Speaking about midfielders, it was interesting how Gravenberch played close to Endo for some parts of the game, almost like a double-pivot, which allowed Endo to be more aggressive in trying to win the ball.

For me i'd start endo more often than not. He offers everything a DM should, whilst not learning on the job.

I really like mac and want him to succeed, but he is not a 6

As things stand, we’ll have to rotate between Endo & Mac at the 6.

If we do bring in a DM in Jan or we find Thiago‘s pulse that really gives us some great options in both 8 positions - Slobbers, Mac, Gravy, Curtis & Harvey.

I reckon Badger (if we find his pulse also) might get a few run outs at RB - think that’s where he’s going to play initially.

I'm unsure with badger. RB seems to be the main area to break in to the squad, but with trent there and playing such a niche role in our system, i don't know whether he'd be dropped in like that. Now bradley is back we're quite covered at RB (Trent, Gomez, Bradley). I could definitely see him coming in as the 6 and working with Trent though.

Ideally within 3 months we'll have mac, endo, badger all rotating as the 6. Maybe if one excels, mac would be back in the group of 8's as you say

I've long given up hope on thiago. there's no lazarus act this time
