Mong is very offensive.

But because they don't come under the rainbow flag with the alphabet people they won't receive any protection on this forum.

Here is a rare bit of good punditry from Michael Owen analyzing our 2nd goal (around 7 minutes into the video):

It didn’t quite register with me at the time, but actually Trent’s position at the moment Van Dijk played that raking cross-field pass was way infield and forward, this is where you would expect your #10 to be during the build-up, not your RB! As long as the pass from VVD was accurate (of course it was) and Elliott’s touch to bring it down was good (it was as well), we had a 5 on 4 attack all of a sudden and from that point on it was just a matter of execution and finding that extra man.

I can't believe some people are still keeping faith with Keita. I gave up on him long ago.

I did after the Real game but looks like Klopp hasn’t yet. Gini left and we ain’t gonna buy another midfielder, out of what we got left, we need all the help we can get.

For near 60M and talking 3 seasons ago, I want a player that is more than a fucking recycling merchant. People want this guy to succeed so much that their own standards have dropped so much they are just bending over to take a massive dick up their arseholes.

If Keita can become a dependable "recycling merchant" who stays fit and available for most of the season, I would frankly be delighted with that because it would be a lot more than what he gave us in the past 3 seasons. But I also think we have to look at what was needed from our midfield against Burnley – Elliott was playing well, but he needed someone to cover for him defensively because you couldn't rely on a 18-year-old making his debut to be faultless in that aspect. Plus Burnley were a lot more active and creating more chances than Norwich – so it makes perfect sense that Keita was more cautious in that game compared to the first game.

I think this is why Klopp seemed happy with Keita's performance after he took him off after 75 minutes – it was a necessary sacrifice for the team. To be honest, we lost a bit of solidity when Thiago came on in Keita's place and it's a good thing the game was already won at that point.

Does that include Klopp?
I don’t think so, just look who’s behind him before you bend over (exclude Hendo, Fabinho and Thiago)
Milner who’s probably on his last season, Jones whom I just don’t trust not to have a brain fart at important times and doesn’t seem to do much with ball and rest I won’t mention and Harvey is just too young to demand the responsibility our midfield 3 responsbility over a 60 game season this year.
Don’t really care much about how Naby does but as I said, we need the numbers but he is incapable of lasting 3 games without injury. FSG aren’t going to spend anymore money on a new midfielder right now without offloading significantly in midfield first and no one is about to pay 30m for Naby.

People have previously banged on about selling Salah to make Mane main man previously but where are they now??? All abit quiet. So would go with Klopp rather than any particular fan opinion anyday.

Yeah, maybe his future lies in recycling.

I simply have no idea what klopp was talking about when he said Burnley used rough house tactics.

His outburst hasn't played well in the media since though. He was right in what he said, but weirdly the sympathy seems to be with "plucky little Burnley".

Who gives a fuck. It'll be echoed until the same dumb refs that instituted a change no one wanted change it abruptly and arbitrarily.

They are like the first time a child plays a racing game. All they do is oversteer. If they want to let the game "go" that means penalizing tactical fouls more, and playing good advantages, then going back and carding after.

Klopp rages at officialdom despite win
“I don’t want to open the box of Pandora this early in the season,” said Jürgen Klopp, as he opened said box to complain about Premier League referees letting the game flow at the expense of punishing fouls. Klopp is also unhappy about Fifa’s decision to allow South American teams to play three fixtures in the forthcoming international break, meaning Brazil face Peru on the Thursday before Liverpool visit Leeds on Sunday 12 September. The latter grievance is perfectly understandable, so too his desire to protect players from injury (and it was Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip he had in mind when discussing Burnley’s physical approach), but it seems hasty to call for a rethink on the new directives for referees two games into the new season. Mike Dean could have booked Josh Brownhill and Ashley Barnes on Saturday but overall, his performance contributed to an entertaining game.

Fair play Jota there, if that's me I'm full on throwing a Fellaini back elbow right on the bridge of the cunts nose.

He did. He was whining about a possible foul on Fernandes in the build up to Southampton’s goal. It wasn’t a foul.
