Looked far to good for my liking... and United got him well cheap too didn't they. Exactly the type of player we should've been tracking and buying really.

Most irritating if he turns out to be the hot shit. And he could.

Not only was he the player with the fastest topspeed tracked during the WC he also looked very technical adjust.

Dammit.

Far too soon to tell..

Weiss and Stoch looked good and neither look like playing in the prem anytime soon.

I didn't like that goal he scored... but isn't there talk of him going on loan to Valencia? If so he must already think his games are going to be limited this season.

Still, at least Owen's career is definitely over now.

Did he not get an extension then?

i thought he looked "ok", nothing more

saying that he'll end up being fucking magic for them now

Ferguson surely likes his strikers babyfaced doesn't he? No wonder Solskjaer tips him for greatness...

*Rooney is the exception to prove the rule obviously.....

That top speed thingy isn't worh much though, if you belive those numbers Torres is as quick as Barry.

Look at his eyes man. It's a fucking goth. I bet he won't be able to get up in time to play at 3 o'clock coz he'll have been up all night listening to Fields of the Nephilim watching Twilight.

I think that was exactly the case though. Torres looked slow, couldn't beat an opponent for pace and couldn't even trap a ball properly.
His knee had to have been troubling him.

And that was my point. We all know Torres is extremely pacey, but in this WC he wasn't due to injury. So, the tests that have been done in the WC doesn't tell us that Hernandez was the qucikest player in SA.

i thought Diouf looked hot shit after watching him in a world cup, similarly Klose looks like one of the worlds top strikers for a couple of weeks every 4 years, club football is a totally different thing

that said if i was a manc id be quietly confident based on his efforts so far

Weiss has been playing regularly in the Premiership for the last half a season.

I remember everyone jizzing their kecks over Tosic so I'll reserve judgement!
Tosic has been out on loan and to be honest - still looks very promising at times..

The price they paid however is laughable.

He only started 3 games for Bolton.

looked good but most likely he won't be able to get used to the altitude. am i right in saying he'll be the 4th mexican to play in the EPL following Borgetti, Giovani, & Vela, all of whom have been poor in England.

He didn't particularly impress me *shrugs shoulders* besides haven't we heard all of this hype about several wonder strikers from Mexico before? Vela, Dos Santos, etc. and they are all shite in the Premiership.

Well, let's hope this one goes the same way then, 'coz there's no guarantee of it. I thought he looked pretty handy at the WC myself.

CSKA bought him for £8M.
I see the press just let that transfer epic fail slide.

How much did they pay for him?
I remember it being round £15 million or £18 million.
