team looks bereft of ideas and confidence. 2 good chances aside from the disallowed offside goal. Surely 2nd half would be better. N'Gog needs partner upfront.

It's all they talk about in the studio over here. Inter and Bayern get away with important offside goals, and we don't. And ours was even onside. Fuck me.

I thought he was our only positive outlet Fwank. 2 or 3 occassions he might have done better but by no means the worst out there. Quite the opposite.
I suggest you leave the anti-Gerrard stuff alone here, you have 10 others who have performed worse.

Yeah, we can't catch a break this season. Probably don't deserve to, but hey... it'd be nice to get a bit of luck.

I think you're all being a bit harsh. We're not playing well, but it's hardly surprising we're not pressing them all over the pitch after that 24-hour journey to Madrid. I'd be more worried if I were an Atletico fan: they've not even created a chance since the first goal, have they?

Anyway, back to the game. Ngog cannot hold the ball up. He's not physically strong enough. You cannot play him on his own up front FFS.

Yea, I think it's that in this competition, and this stage of a shit season, people want to see just some decent football, because it's been so miserable.

Forlan quite stupid there, thankfully.

What on earth is the point in hoofing it to Ngog with three players around him.
