Ha, actually our last league match against Chelsea was as bad as it got.

I sat down in my pub with friends knowing we were going to lose and didn't give a shit. The worse part was I still had a good day after losing. That didn't feel right, but I was down to absolute apathy at that stage.

Again he should know this, and then practise more after training on his free kicks or on his crossing or something, just anything. so then at least when he is lucky enough to play he can contribute.

danny murphy did this and kept his place in the team. then with more experience he developed into a really good player. what is spearing's excuse, if anything he's got progressively worse each time he's played. normally that's his problem, but because of the squad being as depleted as it is his lack of professionalism is now placing the club in a risky situation
