It is frustrating. Even more so cos I'm unsure that the answer is simply giving Suarez more support.

It goes deeper than that. There's a gulf at times between the defence & the midfield, or between the midfield & front three.

It's true that the answer isn't confined to supporting Luis Suarez better, but getting that one thing right would be key to resolving so much else. As well as giving us more of a cutting edge, the lack of which has cost us half a dozen or so points this season, it would improve the balance of the whole side. Ditto its morale, I suspect, as we see more goals going in and more points on the board.

True, but that gap bothers me, as I dont see an easy answer at all.

There's certainly no one single "magic bullet" that will do it, but getting more firepower into the team would help, because it would give opponents more to worry about in their own half and allow us to push forward with greater confidence, which in turn helps close those gaps. I'd want to see other goings and comings as well in January if possible, especially in the midfield, but priority 1 is the striker business IMHO.

I agree that our midfield doesn't look brilliant. It saddens me to say that looks like Steve Gerrard is part of that problem. He's not looked his old self for some time now yet seems to be immune from the bench or even being subbed. I realize that he used to be our saviour in many occasions but unfortunately he seems to have lost a lot of his ability.

No worries - Pennsylvania. Philly area, specifically. Having to watch this game and then the Eagles on Monday night may be too much to bear.

I did get to see Liverpool in Baltimore, though!

Gee whizz I was expecting an awesome game of soccer. The jocks will be so frustrated in the locker room. Head Coach should have told them to throw in a few Hail Marys.

Hahahaha Lionel Richie is always the correct answer.

Not if the question is 'who the hell is this?'
