that was so average it's ridiculous . i guess that's mid table for you . We've no creativity in midfield and our 4-3-3 is more a 4-5-1, what the plan with our central midfield 3 is i've no idea . we don't even keep the ball like people bang on about . People expect us to improve but with this group of players i can't see it being to the level we require .

I am disappointed in Rodgers today - his team worked in the 1st half, but Laudrup's change to bring on Ki changed the game in their favor and we didn't react at all. We should still have won it but Sterling fucked up a simple 1-2 with Suarez.

I really don't understand what Allen has done to earn a spot on the pitch ahead of Henderson - he losses the ball plenty now and today, he even added stupid fouls in dangerous positions to his set of issues. Gerrard was also below average yet again.

Pablo Hernandez looks like the Spanish Joey Barton. Perhaps in looks but not playing ability. Very tidy player. Him and Michu for less than 10 million is great business.

Glen was good as was Pepe. Unbeaten again but we need to start putting points on the board. Disappointing.

That's just everything that needs to be said about todays game. They came off worst 1st half, changed it and looked better, we didn't change and took 25mins to react to their improvement.

GlenJo is almost always good, despite his many detractors claiming otherwise.

Pepe has great, very encouraging. As I mentioned, I see a few small things that make me think his mind is there again, full concentration & that long wall makes me consider whether he is adjusting his game for his inability to cover the whole net with his athleticism like he used to.

Suso was the obvious choice. I can't understand why he didn't give him a chance.
Suarez wasn't given any support at all.

As soon as I read 'If Liverpool win today they will be 3pts off fourth' I knew we wouldn't win today.

there was a fair amount of jinxery in the pre match stuff... usual suspects...

I thought we were excellent first half and deserved to be up but Swansea stepped up second half. Nonetheless, a tricky venue and so a good point, we do need better however.

Allen admittedly didn't have a good day at the office today, but he's done more in his good games so far than Henderson has managed in the whole of his Liverpool career up till now.

IMO it would have helped this afternoon if the two of them had played in each other's positions. Allen's best position is further forward whereas Henderson's, er, isn't.

Even though we didn't lose, that's the worst game I've seen us play this season. No urgency at all in the final 3rd, utterly pedestrian across the board, Gerrard apart from a couple of glamour balls was piss poor, a backheel near the box ffs?! Everybody's dream player sterling, passing to the keeper a couple of good chances. Enrique looking lost. Downing being downing.

Really expected a better performance regardless of the result.

Rodgers bringing on joke hole and shelvey, like those pair of Prats would change the game, but he's got limited options from the bench.

Look, I didnt think she was 14.

Lol. Sorry ClassicGirl, there's few girls venture round these parts, this lot are easily excited.

No worries - I've been a sports fan all my life, so it's nice to talk to people who love it as much as I do.

That being said, I've only just started really watching Liverpool last year, although I've got Istanbul on my computer.

The transfer window can't come round quick enough.

well let's call a spade a spade , the two signings Rodgers made for semi decent money , borini and Allen, have so far looked pretty average . (yeah , yeah borini has been injured and allen will supposedly be one of the best players in the premier league ) . So i've no idea what to expect from the january transfer window , that's even if money is available in the first place .

I enjoy Liverpool, reading and long walks on the beach lol.

Seriously, this team is so frustrating to watch.

It is frustrating. Even more so cos I'm unsure that the answer is simply giving Suarez more support.

It goes deeper than that. There's a gulf at times between the defence & the midfield, or between the midfield & front three.
