We look like we need a runner from midfield more often but we aren't far away. That one where wijnaldum sliced it near the 6 yard box is exactly the kind of play we should be making... arguably better than sturridge aiming for silly 30 yarders time and again
 
Also I have a bet on 4-1 to us so having Klopp screaming at them at half time for not winning May be no bad thing
 
I'm confident we'll score again, just worried they're going to punish us on the counter attack.

Thought this would be tough but a bit shite that we give away that pen. Blatant dive mind.

We miss Hendo. Can is a liability so far in that role
 
Team looks slightly tired - which is too be expected. I'm not sure Klopp did the right thing with the same squad, bar Studge (who oozes class, but is pretty static).

It's not helping that Mane, Firmino, Gini & Lallana are playing well below par -

Can is having a poor game too - so basically, the team is playing like kak.

I mean - this is one of those calls. There was definitely contact ... but did it warrant that Louganis like dive? Meh, every player should do it in today's game ...
 
I've just been thinking about how big a bunch of rejects Sunder land are...

It's mad... mannone from Arsenal, o'shea, love, Januzaj from Utd, van Aanholt and Djilobodji from Chelsea, Rodwell from City, Borini from us. Pretty sure Seb Larsson used to be from Arsenal as well
 
We look like we are trying to walk it in. Pretty poor first half. Can and Firmino in particular wasteful.

The game is made for someone like Origi. Hoping to see him early in the 2nd half. But knowing Klopp it'll be 80 minutes.
 
Can is trying to bully them but it's not working for him. He's frustrating when he's playing like this.
 
We look tired and Can does not do as good a job playing Henderson's role, that said if we can see a bit more of the ball, we look quite good going forward.

It's a fucking stupid schedule. Very little can be learned from this game, but it matters just as much.
 
Emre Can, Klavan have been quite shit.

Mignolet our best player so far.

Sturridge is playing as a CM rather than a ST most times.

Frustrating.
