Delayed? I fucking hate hanging round with tickets. What time you looking at getting there?
I don't expect to be delayed at all! Was thinking of getting there for like half 6 but I can't guarantee the trains won't play up!

What would they do in my case? All 3 seats are in Sunny's name so I'd never have the correct ID. But the club have sold him three tickets all with the same detail.

Same with mine, all of our 3 season tickets are in my mums name. And I'm clearly not a 60 year old woman so I'd say they don't really bother checking them to be honest.

Hahaha! Jon.

Simply cos he dresses more like a scouser. Except for that time he wore chain mail to the derby, but we won 4-0, so he has to wear it again, whether he likes it or not.

Haha I forgot about the chain mail jumper! Walking for a taxi in the pissing rain was fun haha.

The few people I've heard about getting pulled have been wools and micks. So you mightn't like the clothes but you might do well practicing the lingo

Yeah they are definitely looking out for drunk Irish lads who have borrowed a card for the trip over. They will stick out like a sore thumb. Wandering around looking for their seat roaring at their friends to drive on.

Right. That's it. I'm going to have to just suck it up, and buy my own fan card.

(Being a drunk Irish Mick who borrows cards)

Might be a silly question, but can they pull you up when you get through the turnstiles or once you're in, you won't be hassled?

You'll breeze through the turnstiles Gary. I presume it's if a steward comes to help you if you can't find your seat or looking lost etc. Show him your seat info print out and keep card to yourself. Or tell him you're fine, you know where your seat is.

On a side note, I was about five mins late into the game at Xmas Drinkies as I was waiting on two mates to arrive. I had their tickets and the flight from Cork was delayed. When I got to my seat there was someone sitting in it. But he was only sitting in it coz someone was in his. FFS. Stewards had to move a few around to sort it out. I offered to just sit in his as his was only a row out as not to disturb everyone but they insisted on getting it right. I got a few dirty looks then. Ah well, Suarez scored moment later and everyone was happy.

I was quite an obvious OOTer at the xmas drinkies based on my huge fluorescent holdall! 😎

Spion and his mate Dave (you know Dave?) hanging around on the Skerries Road prior to the match...

Am I right in assuming not many (if any) of you are staying afterwards for a pint?

Just debating whether it's worth staying in the harry to watch the match or shooting home in time for kick off after I've shared a pint or two with you lads.

Need to work it out cos I'll need to get Bex to come get me & give her warning in advance if so.
