But we do need depth. The drop off from those front three is huge.
Of course.

Some of the same twitter speculation around these two transfer targets assumes that one of our current front three will be leaving Liverool this summer.
Mane will surely hang around to play with his pal Narby Keita.
Bobby just signed a new contract.
Not sure if we would sell Salah after one season unless he has made it clear, a la Coutinho, that he wants to leave.
Or more likely the whole thing is bullshit
If true then I think it will be Bobby that goes. Is it Bayern that maybe after him ? not sure. Cannot believe that Salah will just go after one season - that don't make sense and if he did - it would be a very new low for us to sell our best player after just one season.
I would not actually worry if both Salah and Bobby wanted to leave. I would only worry if Mane wanted to leave.None of our front three is leaving.
Fucking worrying minnies on this site. Malcolm wear your scarf.
Reports thatFekir added. I classified him as a front 3 player rather than AM/playmaker and as such he gets an "orange" rating ("competitive"), since it's pretty hard to improve on our front 3.
It was that fekir!I'm hearing we've signed some fucker, but I don't have a name yet sorry.
Meanwhile in Malaga
If City can accommodate Aguero, Jesus, Sterling, Sané, Bernardo Silva, David Silva and DeBruyne (I think that's all their attacking talent) then we need to rival that strength in depth if we 're gonna challenge for the title.Fekir needed to add the no look finish to make it complete but otherwise good stuff.
I like him. Not sure where he'd fit in exactly but we need to start adding more quality players.

Firmino, Salah, Mané, Lallana, Fekir, Keita, Ox-Chamberlain (and maybe Harry Wilson).............I think our 6 (or 7) attacking players would give us enough firepower to challenge for the title.
Shaqiri epitomizes the type of an attacking player I particularly dislike: one who ends a lot of his team's attacking moves by taking low-percentage long-range shots and making other decisions that, when successful, make him look good and make highlight reels, but when not (which is most of the time) simply waste his teammates' efforts. Also one who instead of working on diversifying his game is content to let it fall into predictable patterns, such as cutting in and shooting whether the situation calls for it or not. This kind of player is an absolute killer of efficiency and teamwork and so it's little wonder that the team where Shaqiri has been the leader and best player got relegated.
I know Karius has improved of late and might keep improving but I can't see him ever being top drawer so I'm still hoping we make a move for Oblak. Considering how little our net spend has been over the last 3 or 4 seasons I'd like to think Oblak £60m, Fekir £60m, decent CB £40m and £25m for some up-and-coming young striker would give us great balance. We would still need a striker, because Solanke is wank and Ings isn’t good enough either
But I think the most pressing issue is improving the defence because we concede too many goals, so CB and keeper needs addressing as a matter of urgency
OBlak will cost closer to 100
Wow! He's excellent but we are not a club who could/should be shelling out that sorta money for a goalie. Having said that, if we knew he would save us as many points as DeGea saves United then it would be worth it.OBlak will cost closer to 100
lso we can raise funds by selling Markovic, Mignolet, Moreno and Solanke.
Couldn't agree more. For many year you could list at least 10 names that could be deemed "surplus to requirement" i.e. shite. Klopp has got rid of a lot of the deadwood. The one name that we need to figure out what to do with is Harry Wilson. He's 21 now and has just had a very successful stint in The Championship, I think he needs to become an integral part of the 1st team squad next season or, if Klopp doesn't think he's up to it, we need to cash in. We got £15m for Ibe and I see no reason why we shouldn't get a similar amount for Wilson. The best thing about the current squad is there isn't a huge 'dead wood' list
