Based on reading a few articles about the financial rewards of our run in the Champions League; it seems that we would have earned about £25m-£30m if we had been knocked out at the group stage..............if we win the cup we will get about £87m, as runners-up about £74m and if Roma knock us out about £64m. Hopefully this extra revenue will get us Oblak rather than Butland and still leave the transfer kitty in a healthy state.
The exciting part about that is that's just tv and prize money, doesn't include our gates or merchandise sales. We win it and it's pegged at about £125M, and it's almost impossible to judge the knock on effect in terms of growing the fanbase and extra sales. We gonna ave loadsa munny!
Wethe owners gonna ave loadsa munny!

[article]Wolves captain Conor Coady says playing alongside team-mate Ruben Neves during this Championship-winning season has reminded him of his old Liverpool team-mate Steven Gerrard.
As a fellow six-foot midfielder, Coady, 25, himself drew comparisons with the England captain during his early days.
But the converted centre-half now sees Neves, 21, as being in Gerrard's class.
"Ruben Neves is by far one of the best players I've ever played with," Coady told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"When I was coming through, Steven Gerrard was playing more as a sitting midfielder under Brendan Rodgers.
"Ruben is very similar, in terms of his passing range. The way he manipulates the ball around his feet and picks out passes.
"And the goals he has been scoring are sensational. He's got six, all from outside the box.
"Obviously, people are still talking about the volley against Derby - that was the best of the lot, I was stood right behind it.
"But the one he scored at Sheffield Wednesday was totally different. He passed it into the bottom corner with the inside of his foot from about 25 yards - like a penalty."
Neves arrived last summer as the Championship's most costly signing, at a reported fee of £16.1m.
But he did not take long to be allocated his own song by the Molineux crowd and he has even been earmarked in recent weeks as a possible target for Champions League semi-finalists Liverpool.
But the Chinese-owned Wolves hierarchy have already made it clear that they want to keep hold of their prize assets in the top flight - and Coady is of the same mind.
"He's important to us as a player," added Coady. "He's very special. He's a very talented footballer but, more importantly, he's a great lad.
"He had a lot of people talking about him at the start of the season, saying 'he's coming from Porto, would he be able to adapt to the physicality?'
"But he's took to it like a duck to water. He's only 21 and he's playing well beyond his years.
"He came wanting to learn and he listens, he talks and he helps the other boys. Everything he's brought to the table has been fantastic.
"And what do you do when he keep scoring goals like that?" said Coady.
"You just give him a big kiss and say thank you."[/article]
Some classy passes in there, I do get more of a Xabi Alonso feel than I do Gerrard mind.. which doesn't have to be a bad thing.
Yep, perfect backup for the front three. Would be over the moon if we got him. I haven't paid much attention to him this season though, is he still performing?Pulisic makes perfect sense. Hope we get him.
Liverpool revive long-standing interest in Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic

Liverpool have long been linked with interest in the versatile American, with at least one bid being turned down since 2016.
And now it seems that Klopp may well be looking to go back in for him this summer to finally snare his signature, with Pulisic as yet not having signed a new contract.
Bild report that Klopp is undeterred by two rebuffs in recent transfer windows, and is prepared to offer in excess of €60 million for the 19-year-old.
It would really be no surprise if Klopp maintained a firm desire to bring Pulisic to Anfield, and indeed would add to a pattern of patience and resolve in the transfer market that the boss has shown.
Recently, Virgil van Dijk came in from Southampton, half a year after it was entirely apparent that Klopp had earmarked him as a must-sign defender.
There’s also Naby Keita to come after a year-long wait to welcome him to Anfield, while Sadio Mane was another long-term target of Klopp’s before he finally got to work with him.
Pulisic, still a teenager, fits even more wisely to the train of thought that some players are worth waiting for, given that in the meantime he has been accruing invaluable experience.
He has become a key performer, not just for BVB but also the United States national side, where he is perhaps the single most important component to build around.
Pulisic has played as a No. 10 in a diamond, on both sides of a 4-3-3 attack and even as a wing-back this term—albeit in the ill-fated spell of Peter Bosz—highlighting both his technical traits and his tactical acumen.
The Reds most assuredly need players who can fit in and around the front three next term, but Pulisic would doubtless also be a consideration as a No. 8.
Liverpool aren’t afraid to spend big when the player is the right fit in Klopp’s eyes, and that’s clearly the case with Pulisic.
For now, Michael Zorc continues to say that he has “no knowledge” of an impending bid from the Reds for BVB’s starlet, but with two years left on his deal, this summer could be the one to finally encourage a move from Dortmund to Liverpool.
