Didnt really think about this issue until now.

Dont understand why Adrian has been kept on the books? He must be doing some monster work in the background as he could potentially be replaced by a homegrown keeper.

The way we have held on to Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams is criminally negligent from everyone's point of view. After the Allison header goal season, we could have sold them for decent money. No, we decided to hold on to them for what? We didn't get the money we wanted? Their career has also suffered due to that. Leeds must be mental to pay 10 million for a player who has barely played for 2 years.

Saw rumours that Rhys Williams was off on loan to Aberdeen and Van den Berg back to Germany for a year.

Both make sense.

Sounds legit !!!!

It's the Arab's gift to us once they takeover the club, in essence it's an attempt to buy the fan bases support in their philosophy.

"We come bearing in gifts......we therefore wish to welcome on board with us to this great club............MBAPPE!!!!!!!!"

Both make sense.

Rhys was sent on loan to Swansea and then recalled in January. Then he was sent on loan to Blackpool and again recalled in January of this year as cover for Nat Philips who was expected to be sold and didnt happen. Aberdeen want to sign him but apparently we are open to loan only.

We are screwing his career and should have let him go. Of course, his fault for signing a contract till 2026.

Could you imagine.

FSG’s parting gift is Valverde, in comes the Arabs welcoming gift in bringing Mbappe with him!!!!!!!

Liverpool would be the happiest city in the world!!!!!! Well, except the blue side.
You say my wishes are based on delusions, yet you go on about Mbappe. It's okay to have that wish but its laughably fanciful

We could say the same for Keita and Ox. It also seems we are in the business of being sentimental. I don't see any of our players being sold even though some of them pretty much stank the place last year.

It is almost a guarantee Gomez, Thiago, Matip, Hendo and Fab are going to go off on a free at some point. I don't see where our next significant recouping of fees from lesser used players is coming from.

With Keita and Ox, atleast there was the excuse that no one was willing to pay a transfer fee for them. Adrian's contract is over. We have renewed his contract to keep him for next season, this summer? Why?

Liverpool really aren’t holding back this summer as their second signing of the transfer window appears to be inching closer. The Reds are now in pole position to secure the signature of Federico Valverde as a new revelation from Real Madrid has been announced.
According to El Nacional (via Goal), Los Blancos are ‘ready to accept’ an offer of €90 million (£77m) from Liverpool for the 24-year-old midfielder. Valverde is one of many names on Jurgen Klopp’s radar right now as the squad undergoes a hefty midfield shake-up. The signing of Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton set the tone for what is shaping up to be a very fruitful window for the Merseyside outfit.

Valverde’s pending exit from Real Madrid has been described as something of a surprise, due to the arrival of Jude Bellingham who was, of course, also on Liverpool’s shopping list. The signing of the England international will push Valverde further down the pecking order, with Luka Modrić or Toni Kroos, and Eduardo Camavinga already said to be ahead of him next season.
This is reportedly the Reds’ second offer for Valverde and Madrid president Florentino Perez appears to be satisfied with the amount on the table this time. The initial bid was placed on Monday and was said to be worth €70 million (£60m).

Liverpool appear to have wasted no time in revisiting their offer and upping the amount of money for Valverde, so he is clearly very high up on the priority list for Klopp right now. The German boss is apparently ‘in love with Valverde’s virtues’ but rivals Manchester United are also monitoring the Uruguay international’s current situation.

Ok the jokes are over, we’ve all had out laughs now… let’s get back to realism and make this nonsense stop.

Wolves defender Nathan Collins has reportedly agreed terms over a move to Brentford but Liverpool are said to be waiting in the wings.

Reports say the 22-year-old is expected to join the Bees for close to £25m this week after an initial bid of £23m was made. However, the reports say Collins has a fan in Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who is ready to make a move.

Collins was last week named the Republic of Ireland senior men’s player of the year, emphasising why there is transfer interest in him this summer.

Claim to fame. I played schoolboy against his ole man in the DDSL in the 80s! I think His ole main was a trialist at the Pool or S'hampton but it didn't stick.

Collins is potentially a very good defender. Does he fall under the homegrown banner even though he's Irish?

I’m not sure that was the case, though. We’re just too sentimental.
