Leicester are willing to sell Maddison for £50m, they'd take £35m if Maddison only wanted to come to LFC. A good chance to offload CJ.

Um.. a good chance to offload CJ would entail someone wanting to buy CJ, not us buying a midfielder.

CJ is a brilliant player for the right club. I know Klopp has no interest in Maddison, and probably wants to keep CJ. I think the kids getting at least £800k a year as a basic.
Anyway it's more important who we get in now rather than wishing away players as much as I try

Those two things are closely connected though, as they would be at most clubs. Only a few, like Qatar City, can afford to buy whether or not they sell too.

I’d offload some others first before even thinking of getting rid of Jones. I know it’s an obsession with some but he’s done little wrong.

I quite like Maddison tbh. Stand up guy and decent at football too. He's like a little less silkier less handsome version of Lallana but with more goals and assists.

30m + CJ and deal!

He adds very little to the team, I've seen him dribble past 3 players, yet still, create nothing from it. He is slow, skinny, and injury prone, for our set up unless he is a CDM it won't work. He is like the Luiz Alberto but without the passing range

Dribble last three players? That tells me, if anything can, that he can progress the ball! That’s a hell of a lot better than any of the regulars can do, except may be Alcantara and Bajcetic. I’ve also seen him play and I still insist he’s better than many starters.

Unlucky for him and for us - sounds like something he will have to manage the rest of his career. At least we’re breaking new ground in medicine.

Talking of potential targets, what has happened to Jarrod Bowen 😱 By the way, I wasn’t impressed with Declan Rice, either.

MacAllister isn't a player to transform our midfield. He's a player to add to an already good midfield; which we don't have unforts. He shouldn't be a marquee signing but that's not to say he isn't an excellent player.
BUT, if we signed Jude, were sniffing around Tielemans etc. he'd compliment that well.

we DO NOT need to transform our midfield in terms of "Jude Tchouameni etc"
We need three players like Fabinho, Hendo & Gini ... they transform the TEAM because they allow the defenders and attackers the time and protection to do what they did before our midfield started collapsing last year.
Oh, get rid of THiago.

I don't really agree.

Fabinho, Hendo & Gini worked because our attack was one of the best in the world. We don't have that luxury anymore.

Even if you think Jota and Diaz will hit full form, become injury free over the summer, and Nunez will learn the offside rule, it's still nowhere near as good.

It made them the best in the world ... we were destroying midfields 99% of the time, protecting the defense and the attackers could just do their thing knowing if they didn't, the ball would come back soon enough to try again.

Set it up again, you'll see our front 3 blossom again, regardless who it is.

If Everton was to go down we should put in a bid for Alex Iwobi.
Watched him vs Spurs the other night. If we can convert him to a AMF we'll have a very creditable Gini replacement

I've seen him a couple of times - he has seven assists this season for a sh1t side. He has a year left and home grown. If we could get him for £20m, I would say yes.

We should have signed Onana from Lille. I’d only sign him from the Eve if they get relegated and he can leave for a reduced fee. If not it will be overpriced.

Iwobi is Oxlade mk II. Big N O

I would honestly prefer offering Oxlade a contract extension than signing Iwobi.

On second thoughts, I would have LFC sign you rather than Iwobi and Ox.
