Suddenly Football Matters Again

Do you remember how at the beginning of this very season, it was so quiet here on SCM? The match threads would be literally 5-6 pages long, and that despite a winning start.

Pete if it Sunday kick off we might hit the ale on the Saturday night and take it easy on the sunday. Four of us coming over and Andy also in. JACKPOT.
i'll crash this if someone can photocopy me one of your tickets

I'd love to go to a big game at least once anyway

It's like that short period when we were beating real, Barca, Man U etc under Rafa in 2007. You expected to win and felt good about the teams prospects. You could also easily take the team for granted...

You might pick up a spare if your lucky closer to the game mate. Come over anyway.

I can see tickets being hard enough to get. City at home in April. If we are in with a shout for 4th never mind the title them I expect tickets to be sparse.

This is gonna be tricky for me to even get out for. The eldest child's sixth birthday is the 7th April so we may doing something for that & may well be spent up too.

Have to make a decision closer to the time, but I'll try to save some pennies from here on out.

Nice one Jon. I'll keep you posted with our plans anyway. Anyone else fancy a Spring Drinkies?

Hopefully we'll be having top of the league shots of Jager to celebrate, well, being top of the league.

I don't think I've missed a streamed game in 4-5 years, maybe 1 or 2, and I'm still equally as apathetic towards anyone that's not Liverpool. The only thing thats really changed this season is that I've watched MOTD a little bit more.

It's because you're enjoying football more as a whole.

For two years I used to get up at 7am to watch our 3pm kick offs. If we lost, that was me done with football for that weekend.

I still do that if we lose the early kick off on a Saturday. It just makes me really angry watching another team win when we didn't.

I never watch MOTD if we've lost. I delete it from my Sky+ without so much as a peak.

You better show your face this time fabio.

No Jeff Stelling Xmas Drinking games for you.

SPRINGBREAK.
I'm planning to be there this time.

Just need to make sure finances are in order...

It's your match as well, I'm not even going the game, I'll just meet you afterwards.

I suppose it is your birthday in April so you may get a few free birthday drinks....

How probable is it that this game will be moved lads? Is it a dead cert? Would love to arrive on Saturday, get shitfaced with you lot that night and then roar my hangover away at the game on Sunday.

It will 100% be moved for TV. I've just got a feeling they will make it the 12.45 or the 5.30 on the Sat.

Hope do anyway cos then it's straight into town and let's get fucked up.

5.30 game would be great.

5.30 is best all round I think, that Cardiff one was brutal, 12 hour drinking session. Not pretty.
