Publicly at least, the Torres deal and more recently the Danny Wilson deals took longer. I wouldn't worry that it hasn't happened yet, but of course it seems we need to reach some middle ground financially.

Negredo is a fair step down from Suarez. So so disappointed, all the right people said Suarez was happening too... Gutted.

According to another site, on a Ajax forum the resident ITK said that Suarez was 99 % to leave. The others seem to take his word very seriously.

Some others say we now have accepted their valuation and asking price.

Just hit twitter myself and all people seem to be on about is that the deal is done, 24 million, he'll sign tomorrow and wear number 7.

Uo don't need to understand it further. It's a perfect barometer of our current status in this transfer.

Just read the numbers and take them as cast-iron proof of where we're at.
