Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

Suarez deal looking iffy according to numerous ITKs out there. It seems we're sticking with the LFC tried and tested policy of offering far too little for a top player with typical results.
Sounds strange though, when very good sources said last night that there had been a lot of progress..

I don't think anyone know beside the owners, Comolli, Kenny and maybe Ayre. We seem to keep the cards extremely close to the chest nowadays.

The ITKs who were claiming progress yesterday are saying Ajax have offered him to Spurs who are prepared to meet their valuation. And such like.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

I wish Hicks and Gillette were still here. They'd have bought Torres and Mascherano and Keane by now.

Yet Spurs have moved on to other targets and in the end he wants to move to us. A mate of mine whose a Spurs fan, said that one of their resident ITKs at the forum where he posts said the offering to Spurs is BS

Its a lot of tactics involved to say the least

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

Whatever the truth of all this, I don't want us to roll over and take a stuffing on price for Suarez or for anyone else. We need to be flexible, but not so flexible that we become a soft touch.

Yes, get the player and agent on-side and then try and fuck the club over. Like we did (or tried to do) with Barry and cried foul when Barca did it, (much more successfully) to us with Mascherano

regards

I don't give a fuck to be honest. Spend zillions, what does it matter? It's not like they're going to buy me a pint if they don't.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

The ITKs at Rawk says we're pulling out of this transfer..

Where is Mark when you need him?

If we end up buying Negredo Ã'll fucking cry.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

Negredo and Torres would be ace together and I'm basing this totally on the fact that they're both Spanish.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

They're completely different players so I don't really see how Negredo can be a backup plan for Suarez.

Negredo can't really play out wide either, so with him it's either two up top or he's sat on the bench.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

good to see somethings never change. penny pinch, pull out and then use the money on several cloggers. yay!

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

I wouldn't worry spidey, he's not a winger, so who cares eh?

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

By the way, Is Harry about to bankrupt yet another club? I mean we already know he's about to fuck off to the England job so the escape route is already in place, but how many attacking players to Spurs need?

I wouldn't have a problem with that TBH. Unlike some others on here I think Negredo is good enough, and I wouldn't have been happy anyway if signing Suarez had persuaded the club not to bother signing a genuine wide man too.

Hwo old is negredo? Is he fast?
He's 25 ya lazy git! Just type Negrado into google......go on, I dare you. Hes the first thing that comes up. Haha.

He's ok.....but at this stage if we get him and not Suarez, ill be massively massively disappointed!

Heh, a winger is progress, I thought he'd have gone straight for the ball-busting, all out attacking, 20 goals a season fullback.

When we did spend money it tended to be shit anyway.

Oh well.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

I'd be fine with us having a valuation of a player and not spending more than that.

I just don't want to know about it.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

Just because he hasnt signed dosent mean he wont,Relax lads and go and watch Emmerdale.

The agents fees seem to be a major issue wether this deal goes ahead or not.

Thats all I know.Sounds like a game of poker and we will call there bluff,Trust me.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

I had given up hope but i'm quietly confident again. Thanks Mark.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door
