Wouldn't know how, mate :-[ but both Oliver Kay and Tony Cascarino had a pop at him for it in "The Times" on Monday and I think I saw something similar in the "Mail" (over somebody's shoulder, so I can't be certain) that day too.

One of mates mentioned it too, but since on a media blackout haven't read anything myself but would be worth reading even if I have to come out of self enforced media blackout.

Exactly so, he can come on calling people embarrassing and having egg on their face for being loyal and sticking up for their own and not expect a reaction.

I don't think I was being over the top, if I was skully or Q/spaz that would be expected

There are far too many classless posters that have to be right all the time, and be thoroughly obnoxious making sure when they do get one right everyone gets to know , O'Hare is a prime example of that too.

I just don't understand why you felt it necessary to create some bullshit excuse when it was clear what actually happened during the handshake thing.

I find it bizarre that you and others can't acknowledge that a Liverpool player has done something wrong.

Must be great to be so certain of your own judgement. It wasn't clear to me at all.
On the replays and stills I have seen since the match it is even less clear.
The "bullshit"accusation is,well bullshit.

I have no problem acknowledging when a Pool player have done something wrong.

To me it is 100% crystal clear that Evra drops his hand before Luis comes along. You expect him to bow for Evra. To crawl for him?

I respect that in your miserable little world Luis have let you down. I am aware you hate his guts. And I respect you for hiding behind the club logo in your bullshit attack on a guy terrorizing other defences on our behalf. Well keep on, but it is making you look small and stubborn in my eyes.

It's got to the point where defending Suarez at all costs has become many peoples default position.

He fucked up. He's been made to apologise for it. He's a bit of a cunt.

Deal with it and move on.

Yup. I don't believe for a second that Suarez's appology is from his heart and that he is sorry that he didn't bow for the almighty captain of Man u and France. the one guy that came up to him and adressed him "Conchita tu hermana". The one guy that lied to have him branded as racist. And again I respect that you in your miserable little world think he should have bowed for Evra and Sir Alex.

But if you see the pictures, don't you see that Evra lower his hand? He doesn't completely withdraw it, but he clearly does't offer it.

Well, you keep on saying that Luis has not helped himself by admitting to the incident.

You are not helping yourself by keep on wrongly saying he did. He did not admit o what he was charged and convicted for. He did the opposit, and denied it all.

That's because I don't think he has done anything much wrong, certainly not to justify the wild over-reaction and punishment from the FA, the media, Ferguson and even some Liverpool fans. I don't feel justice has been done at all, and never will.
Like others I have an opinion on Saturday and what did or did not happen, you are entitled to call it bullshit if you like, and just because Suarez has apologised it does not make me think any different. My own personal view is he was forced to do for the greater good whether he was guilty or not it to make it all end. He should not have been put in that position.
The vast majority of local fans I speak to all feel the same way, it's different on the internet apparently.

It's the same media pack who did exactly that over Hodgson that has kept the fires burning on Suarez.

Oh, I do concur with your disdain for the media.

One day, just one day, we might look back fondly on this moment as the dawn of a new accord.

Ok, no, it's probably not going to be but I'm in my "care bear" mood, as my nephew calls it.

Well, I am not sure who we will look back to this moment. I have never ceast to be amazed by people. i am not sure if they are just on the wind up or they are fucking stupid. It is hard to say.

But the day Sir Alex finally call it the day. When he has his glorious last moment and all the chief writers are there to celebrate him, you can be sure that they are there mostly because they haven't drawn swords with him. They can't wait to make their long summaries of his glorious careers, and share their finenst moments. And the reason they are invited is because they have danced to his tune for what seems forever. That none of them have the balls to question his behaviour becasue they are afraid theyll miss out is just sad. That noone dares to state the obvious every now or then is a shame. We have all seen how far he is willing to go to snap the head of a referee for a poor 50/50 call, the same as Jose Mourinho would received massive stick for, but it all goes unnoticed.

This guy has been defending wife beaters, grannyfuckers, careerkillers and drugtestfailures as long as he see his case fit. He has had players with worse attitude than Suarez, but the media let it go unpunished if he sticks up for them. He would have taken Suarez under his wing and had a go at Evra if the players were in opposit teams. But still too many reds are actually backing him in this matter. its a shame, and I guess thats how Ill look back on it. Amazed by the high moral standard people have set for themselves while having a go at the small man from uruguay. The one who was supposed to be your man in this row.

Lets lighten the mood.

BREAKING NEWS!!! Luis Suarez has been arrested for the murder of Whitney Houston in a racially motivated attack. Eye-witness Patrice Evra says he saw Suarez kill her at least 10 times. Sir Alex Ferguson has called for the death penalty. Kenny Dalglish says he has never heard of Whitney Houston and has questioned whether she ever actually existed. Howard Webb said he saw it all, and is awarding Man U a penalty.

Well, I guess you could swap "defending" with "attacking" and it will make as much sense (if not more), would it not?

No, not really.

Because against United Luis Suarez acted like a cunt. Obviously so. And yet he's blindly being defended by one still frame of a video, a video in which every other single frame shows him up to be a twat.

I get the support during the racism trial, that's fine, but defending his actions against United just makes anyone look a blind fool, and is now at odds with the view of Ayre and Dalglish. If that wasn't the wake up called needed then I don't know what is.

I didn't read your comment as referring only to the handshake incident. As far as that goes, he should have done what he said he would. I doubt we'll agree on whether or not he should have been put in that position, but he should have stuck to any commitment he gave beforehand.

Luis Suárez 'does stupid things', says Ajax manager Frank de Boer

• De Boer defends Suárez's character despite recent conduct
• 'I can't imagine that he actually said something racist'

Frank de Boer has described Luis Suárez as liable to do "stupid things" as he defended his former Ajax colleague's character and admitted he is surprised at the controversy the striker has generated at Liverpool.

Suárez's former club host Manchester United in the last 32 of the Europa League on Thursday night but Patrice Evra will not be present having been excluded from Sir Alex Ferguson's squad for the first leg, along with Ryan Giggs and Dimitar Berbatov.

The Liverpool striker remains a popular figure at Ajax even though he left the Dutch club in January last year while serving a seven-match suspension for biting PSV Eindhoven's Otman Bakkal. De Boer was assistant to Martin Jol at the time of that incident and manager when Suárez's £22.8m transfer to Anfield was completed.

Despite his admiration for the striker, the Ajax coach believes Suárez made a major mistake in refusing to shake Evra's hand at Old Trafford on Saturday. De Boer said: "We know Luis is a winner and he does everything to win. Sometimes he does some stupid things but I don't know the details of what happened in that specific game so I cannot comment. Outside of the pitch he is a fantastic person. For everything else, I cannot say. He does everything to win. I don't think it was very smart that he didn't shake the hand of Evra. It has put more attention on everything."

In a separate interview with Goal.com, De Boer claimed he does not believe Suárez would use racist language and said he hopes the Uruguay international, accused of misleading Liverpool over his intentions for the meeting with Evra by the club's managing director, Ian Ayre, will remain at Anfield.

He added: "It was not a wise thing to do [refuse Evra's hand]. There are always two sides to a story, but what has happened has hurt Suárez and Liverpool. That was a big mistake from him and from Liverpool. They knew that something like this could happen, and should have discussed it before. These kinds of things are bad for himself and for the club.

"I can't imagine that he actually said something racist, and I really hope that he didn't. He was punished for it, though, and I hope that he now stays at Liverpool. There is no doubt that he's a great player."

Hmmmmmmmm1 - or whatever the fuck your username is - I've been watching you for a while now and you seem incapable of posting anything positive about the club. Why is that ?

It hasn't been a great season on the pitch (no surprise there) and disaster off it.

As Ross and others have pointed, anyone not backing Luis gets demonised.

I'd like to think I'm mentoring you all in that you should look at the facts of the situation first and then decide where you stand rather than just see an LFC crest on a jersey and automatically jump to a laughable defence.
