oh i agree, lucas has been outstanding, yet lucas is getting stick "he's improved but we should get rid", "not good enough for the first team" etc. i'd like a little consistency across the board.

And no i'm not saying get rid of gerrard or anything before someone pounces. Just a little consistency would be ideal

Whoooa ang on there kidda. I wouldn't say he's been outstanding. He's still average based on a LFC standard but outstanding based his own standard that we'd gotten used to. Jesus i can still feel the word CUNT wanting to come out when i say he's been decent. If i'm being harsh then someone put me right.

i'm using outstanding in relation to his ability. he's really improved dramatically so he is actually a good CM now. he's still prone to errors, but everyone is

The Liverpool standard has been pretty poor toaverage for a while now. Gerrard, Torres and Pepe were pretty much the only shining lights with the former suffering from quite a few injuries and loss of form.

It took Kenny to come in to raise the bar and improve the confidence of the team.

It's shitty timing though.

The next weeks will decide the entire season for us.

Fifth place was still possible, and maybe even a great run in the UEFA Cup..but it looks grim now 🙁

Defend the likes of Lucas all you want but when we've got a midfield without SG in it, for the most part we are impotent. Yeah he can have bad days, but Lucas's best day is worse than SGs worst.
