Don't really like Redknapp or Spurs, but much happier with them in Europe than Man Shitty

Well done to Lurch and co

Deserved

My only concern is that City have got money and will attract players anyway, Spurs are a big(ish) club waiting to happen and are now another team for us to contend with in the transfer market, and ultimately in the league.

hahaha!!!! Rooting for Spurs for 3rd now but out in the CL early rounds next season.
Hope that this puts a slight clog in Man City's money machine. Mancini to go? Gary Cook's face was precious at the end.

Bellamy looked very happy for 'Arry at the end there. He'll be at Spurs next season I think.

Well done to Spurs and to Harry Redknapp.

18 months ago Spurs were miles adrift at the bottom of the table and now are probably in the champions league with Harry fucking Redknapp as manager...there must be some hope for us still!

Think I'll have to dig out that "Shit or get off the pot thread" from a while back. As far as I remember I was the only one who went for Spurs to get fourth

Looking at the Spurs squad there's a whole lot of guys who would greatly improve us

damn, is Bale that quick or Citeh's right back slow or exhausted. Happy for Crouch, if only he had stayed with Liverpool.

I've tipped Spurs as 'Dark Horses' every year for the last 10 years

I bet this was the only year I didn't
[/quote]

they would have been in the CL before now if they didn't bottle the last game v west ham

I said it would be Spurs from about the 5th game this season mate. There was something about their play - more steel and resolve than in the past.

Correct me if I'm wrong but that's it - 4th place all tied up.

if alonso were at the club I think we would have got 4th at a canter.

He probably would be if Rafa hadn't tried to replace him. I'm not too sure about fourth though

King's performance tonight was superb. One of the best 90 mins I've seen from a centre back who wasnt Sami or Carra.

Tough one.

Superb CB when he's fit but he makes Kewell look like a flaming Iron Man.

Taking him to an intense tournament could backfire hugely but, on current form, he'd be an absolute star at the World Cup. The kind of decision that Fabio will be crucified for if England don't win it and hailed for if they do win it.

I've constantly said dont take him cos breaking up a CB partnership partway through a tournament is mad, but he was imperious last night, the performance was magnificent, &, most importantly, came after playing Saturday too.

That was only the second time this season he played 3 games on the bounce. I think Capello would be bonkers to take him as he just couldn't cut it playing games so close together.

Yeah but if there was another game coming up he wouldn't be able to play it. I can see the merit in bringing him because is a supreme CB, but relying on him to play in a WC is such a risk, I'd go with a safer bet like Jag or Upson.
