By the way, it's amazing to see how many Spurs players have had really, really good seasons after being a bit ridiculed.

Bale we have discussed, but Huddlestone (memorably described by someone as resembling a dopey bear ambling about looking for picnic baskets on this site) has been so impressive.

Alonso-esque passing with both feet, great shot, works hard, so composed.

If he had any pace and a bit of fire in him, he'd be in the England squad already

Amazing generally to see how quality riddled both sides are. It's no fucking wonder we're finishing 7th at best. Spurs have got Gudjohnson, Pavyluchenko, Bentley, Palacios and Kranjar on the bench! SPURS!! We had Ngog, El zhar and Degen.

It's no coincidence that both teams playing for 4th have strikers that we got rid of and didn't replace.

Crouch has had a very good second half. Held the ball up very well and has looked dangerous, although the keeper should have never had a chance with that earlier header. I really hope Spurs can see this out and secure the CL spot. They will have a much better chance of bottling it in the qualifiers.
