Oh dear.
So what has happened to all this we can challenge for the title shite that was being spouted just a couple of weeks ago by the same people who are now almost suicidal.
We were never ever going to challenge United, City or to a lesser extent Chelsea, that was fucking obvious. Our targets are Spurs and Arsenal.
Fourth place was, and still is the realistic, and stretching, target.
I also agree with Hansern all this Downing , and Carroll bashing, by comparing them to Aguero and Mata is absolute bollocks and very tediuos, they didn't want to come here , probably because we don't have CL footy to start with. Until we get that you will all have to put up with the Adam's Carrolls and Downings of this world , and just hope that it starts coming together again pretty soon, which I think it will.
We got off to a very poor start and let Spurs get to us, Skrtel did OK as a stop gap the other day at right back , but should just not have been considered to play there again we have seen it before, it's suicide.
Adam was fucking stupid, but Skrtel was just plain thick. I was starting to think we could actually nick a point with ten men, before the soft twat made a pointless tackle.
Modric scored a great goal, I can't say anyone was particularly to blame for that, shit happens, and we were left chasing the game Spurs played well, better than anyone expected they would, and we looked clueless for the rest of the half.
Kenny really needs a rethink on his tactics and who his best team actually is, and our players really need to start concentrating on what they are meant to be doing and get on with things, and that includes Suarez, he needs to button his lip and play the whistle a bit more.
I thinks Carra did OK today , but he is not inspiring confidence like he used to in the others. Coates looks to have something about him, what a match to make your debut in.
We were unlucky at Stoke, but well beaten today and not helped by stupid sending offs. It's a set back, but not the end of the world = Let's see if we can cobble together another decent home performance and result, we really need it for our confidence.
