I can't wait for another heroic Irish playoff performance that will see us restore pride back into the Irish football journey. And lose.

Who else is in the play offs then?
For the moment...

Croatia
Sweden
France
Czech Republic
Republic of Ireland
Turkey
Montenegro
Estonia
Not Sweden mate.
Opoops.
Portugal then I think.
Denmark pipped them to first place in the group didn't they?

Trap's Ireland play football that makes me want to eat my own cock.
Yeah. The FAI should resign Steven Staunton or Brian Kerr, either would have Ireland qualified by now.

Yeah we did. In stylish manner if I may say so 😀

Portugal has got a few major stars but fails to look a team at times at least compared to Denmark. Oh and I'm glad we shipped that Raul fella. Not really that good.

Ireland would have a chance there but obviously there's easier opponents to pick from.
I am getting rather fed up with you Danes wining all the fecking time 😉

We are truely awful mate and I wouln't have us as favourite, irrespective of who we get

Being seeded would suggest that Ireland could face Estonia, Montenegro or Bosnia. In which case they have a chance actually.
I honestly wouldn't fancy our chances against any of them

Estonia? Quite an achievement for them I guess to be in the PO's.

Ireland would be firm favorites there. Bosnia in particular would be tricky mind.

We were mostly dire in South Africa so I'm hoping and believing firmly in a much better performance at the Euros. Perhaps a repeat of a Germany v Denmark final to celebrate the 20-year anniversary since that night in Gothenburg in 92'

😀

Doesn't matter:
"The draw for the qualifying play-off matches for UEFA EURO 2012 will take place from 13.00CET on Thursday 13 October at the Sheraton Hotel in Krakow, Poland."

FUCK YEAH !!!!

Wait a min why on earth for Nemanja Vidic taking the penalty for Sebia. Why on earth was he on penalty duty? Mental.

Also mega lol @ Arteta making the Spanish team as soon as he joins a 'big' club.

Liverpool scouts where present in Parken last night watching the Denmark v Portugal game and one player in particular - apart from the usual suspects - could've gotten our interest.

23-year-old powerhouse defender Andreas Bjelland who's still playing for minors FC Nordsjælland in the Danish Super League.

A very strong build defender who's not only strong in the air but on the ground as well. Good pace as well and he'd come very cheap I reckon - around the £2M mark.

Did very well to deputise for Daniel Agger alongside Simon Kjær against Cyprus and last night against Portugal and looks bound for a big move soon.

His agent btw is one Michael Steensgaard.

Bjelland
Worth signing for that.

The bloke who ended his career when he had an accident over an ironing board? Without ever playing for Liverpool!

What is it with the Danes? Are they carved from glass?!?!?!

Ha ha.. yeah he's certainly going to do better than good not to end up as Bellend. That's a hazzard that comes with the job mind.
