At home, that's terrible.
Well Southgate didn't feel the need to see Henderson, so he let Philips play, who probably was the worst player on the pitch alongside Walker

Saka as the left sided forward too.. baffling.

James left back first half..

On a side note, Nathan Collins who scored for Ireland tonight, his dad, Dave Collins was in our squad in the late 80s. No recollection of him at all.

I actually want England to do kind of well - not in a win or achieve anything of note way - but in a Southgate to be the next Man Utd manager sort of way.

These were the sort of results I hoped to see him bring to Utd at Old Trafford on a regular basis.

The nations league is endless. Have 0% interest in it.
6 games after most players have played over 60, UEFA are milking football for every last drop and getting away with it in their priviledged position.

I've never thought Southgate was anything special as a manager. He's essentially a younger Roy Hodgson, who's overly conservative nature has been bailed out Kane and Sterling's goals. The long term plan has always looked a bit shaky. That said, the players are all fucked and, rightly, don't give a shit about the Nations League. I'm not overly arsed what happens to Southgate, but his tournament record to date suggests he's got enough in the bank to take them to Qatar. His future should be decided after that.

England have the finest and most balanced squad I can remember, unfortunately possibly the worst manager of the top 10 nations to manage it. Not sure how they can fix but I bet Graham Potter can do a better job at the moment because the current downturn in form for England has come out the worst time for Southgate. FA will need to make decision after the 2 games.
Although who wants to play tripe like Hungary twice in a week in June, who even pays for this shite when people are barely able to pay their energy bills.
Uefa and international football can fuck off outside of WC and EC.

Graham Potter should be first choice.
Although I think he wants to further his club management career first
