Tbf holding up the ball in these conditions is asking a helluva lot of anyone.
This weather suits high balls & crosses. Which is like the complete opposite of our game unfortunately.
Everytime I see Allen I expect him to be a ginger.
Yeah, both sides are struggle to keep hold of the ball for any length of time, these conditions are awful for both sides natural styles, I just worry that they can play the crossing game better than ours.
Allen looks like he's trying to slow down the game. All our other midfielders are doing the opposite.

Abysmal is a bit OTT, but needs to step up. Gets overrun to easily. Just as we normally do against physical teams.

His passing, defensive work, and ability to keep the ball has been non-existent today.

That contact with the ball thing is a misnomer really, regardless whether the ball is won, if the tackle is reckless or takes out the man to win it it's now considered a foul.
Not my opinion, I think it's bollocks, but them's the rules.
