Such smarmy arsery.

Kuyt is one fucking million times better than Babel, which is why he'll play more often, score more often, and do more more often than him this season, just like every other fucking season. Stick your Babel = total football up your manx arse.
I know you love Kuyt; it's a matter of pride with you now as you've always backed him, but he's obviously a very limited player and none of our top rivals would play him.

Sure, Babel's not living up to his ability, of course I agree. But Kuyt isn't very good. Sorry.
Robin, this isn't personal, I just think you're talking fucking shite.

How on Earth would the man who's come second to Ronaldo only for goals from the right-wing over the last few years NOT get a game at our rivals? It's just fucking nonsense. He's proven time and time again his worth to us, and unlike most (including your poster boys), he's done it when it matters. He'd walk into the United side, the Arsenal side, just about any side you want to name.

Despite the fitness worries for several players, I think Rafa puts out an offensive side to not only give us an increased chance at a comfortable three points against a bus that will surely be parked, but to also quiet the critics/murmurs/etc that (correctly) arose after the parformance v Spurs.

Johnson-Carra-Ayala-Insua

------------Mascher------------

Kuyt ----- Stevie ----- Riera

--------Yossi
--------------Torres

Dirk and Yossi obviously are interchangeable.... Do we need Lucas AND Mascher at home against Stoke? God (Not Fowler, the real one) help us if we do......

All Day meetings for me on matchday, so I will have to avoid the site and watch the Thursday replay here in the states. I hate that... but tis better to watch the 90 minutes the next day than to read a play by play 5-6 hours after the match anyway.

I think we thrash them all over the park, but only win 2-0 or so.

When you look at the side United put out on Sunday, it's hard to argue. Park, O'Shea etc..

He'd definitely get in the other big sides squads/teams and he's unquestionably better than that useless, lazy, brainless, no hoper.
I dont think he'd get in the Arsenal or Chelsea teams. Thats not a reflection on him as much as the way they play.
Chelsea are all power and pace, and Arsenal are all touch and control.
Dirk is built on a model of how we play, and United too to a degree. Endeavor, hard work, passion and skill. He would certainly get into the United team, Fergie would love him. He would be an Eboue type squaddie at Arsenal, but i dont think he'd get near the Chelsea team.

I kinda agree about Chelsea, but that's not really a reflection of his quality, as you say, it's more about suitability. I wouldn't say Malouda (for example) is a better player, he's just a typical Chelsea player really. Hit and miss but offers pace and power.

I'm not sure I agree about Arsenal though I see your point, Wenger has utilised slow players out of position on the flanks for years, and it's worked. I could see him doing a similar (if slightly less glamorous) job to what Hleb did for them, and to a much better degree too.

I hope Rory Delap hurts himself.
It's his arms I'm worried about.

The legs, not so much.

Rory Delap - sounds like an Irish porn star, plays like one, too.
He sure doesn't score like one.

He won't walk in to those sides. Stop clowning around.

He is good but not that good. Why do you find the need to be so confrontational?

I don't think Dirk would "walk" into the other top clubs in England and indeed the world. He'd be worthy of a place in many of them but "walking in" makes it sound unrealistic and bias.  And he did score most of his goals up front last season.

He's a very good player who's been playing at the top of his game for the last year, but there would few places where he would have been shown the patience of Rafael Benitez. Thankfully that's now bearing fruit for us and not somebody else.

He's going to be hugely important this season.

That's been said a few times and to be honest I doubt its correct...Can't be arsed looking up stats though..

Delap will spend about ten mins winding up every throw in then moan that we don't give him a towel to spend another five mins drying the ball.
