OK, if I read the papers this is probably well known, but on hearing something someone just said to me 'Rafa was just as crap, you've been rubbish for ages', I just went on that statto site to see how many points we've had after 13 games for the past 20 years

This is our lowest, joint with Souness in the 92/93 season. Given that the 20 years before that were the most successful in the club's history I doubt it was lower than that for that period, and I can't be arsed looking in the 60s.

In short... anyone saying Rafa was just as bad is a moron. At least I've now got some figures to prove it.

And tomorrows interview with Hodgson will be about how SOuness basically destroyed thisclub, and himself, with 35 years of managerial experience as one of the highest rewarded, respected and loved managers in the whole of Europe has now got this dirty job by cleaning up the mess.....

Rafa was a very good manager who'd lost his way and was steadfastly refusing to learn from his mistakes.

Roy is just hopelessly out of his depth. I'm sure eventually the part of me that feels a little bit sorry for him will come to the forefront, but right now he's stitching us all up.

I always enjoyed telling other fans that it took Ferguson 20 odd years to get Man Utd to 2 European Cup Finals. It took Rafa 3 years to get LOiverpool THere.

And in 15 odd years Wenger has never taken Arsenal there only once.

Mourinho never took Chelsea there at all.

Yup if the remit is to get the best out of a Squad that is given to him, i would have Rafa as one of the top 10 coaches in achieving that.
