I do wonder about our scouting network to be honest.
Ive liked Greizmann for a couple of years now, and watching him last year you could just tell he was about to break through. Hes on the brink of having a Bale type season and thats that.
We should have been all over him this summer. I havnt seen much of Willian or any of Mykhtarian bit theres no way 30m on them would represent as much value as 15 to 20 on this kid.
Even at the TOP cost he is 25m euro because thats his buy out.
Aside from that goal he has looked threatening constantly been all over the pitch and defended brilliantly.
Im gutted that we arent after him.

I think there's more to it than simply scouting.
Nobody really knows just how much influence agents have. I've always wondered whether there's a bunch of agents that we won't deal with or vice versa and that's the reason some players will never be an option for us.
Griezmann is ace! Sadly he'll stay now that Sociedad look likely to qualify for the group stages.

We pissed off a lot of agents when fsg first came in by refusing to deal with them cos fsg had a fit when they realised how much of the transfer fee went their way.
Whether or not that still applies I don't know.

There was loads of rumours that Mourinho didnt fancy he and Luiz when he came in, he has since rubbished the Luiz rumours and said he isnt leaving but Mata has hardly played in pre-season with no reassurances from Jose. Then firs day of the season he played De Bruyne and Oscar instead of Mata and the brought Van Ginkel on.
Again my mate says he doesnt fancy him and at some fans forum he used some of that arrow shit youre all keen on to show how he struggles to be disciplined.
I dont think he would be cheap, we probably would have to pay 30 to 35m but who is more proven?

Would be a massive surprise and is extremely unlikely but if Buck wants to balance the books and make a profit and stick 40m on Rooney....its possible.

It certainly wont be impossible. They are signing Bale. That means (and you know its Perez who selects the galacticos to play) Bale, Ronaldo and Benzema will play every game.
So that leaves three midfield berths for Ozil, Modric, Kaka, Isco, Khedira, Alonso, Illerremendi, Di Maria, Marcelo. You cant keep 9 midfielders happy for 3 places.
Isco will play given hes just cost 40m Either Alonso or Khedira will HAVE to play.
Ozil, Kaka, Modric and Di Maria must be available for a cost.
