I don't know if it's just a coincidence, but he's captained England's U17 to their first European trophy in 2010, helped the club’s reserves to a cup double in the summer of 2010, captained our kids to 3rd place in the NextGen Series tournament, scored on his unofficial senior debut in China last summer, and at the moment he's away with Englands U19's were they're in the semi-finals against Greece with a decent chance of progressing. Not bad for a lad of 19. I'm just basing it on facts as I haven't really seen him play.
When did I say that? I merely pointed out that having a 'great attitude' is hardly a great reason to keep a player at the club.

Spearing has never shown enough to warrant he is good enough for LFC and should be shipped out.
Kuyt had a much better attitude and 10 times the ability and he was let go. We have far better potential for midfield coming through and by selling him it frees up a squad place in the first team.

Since then he's been playing in midfield. That's where I think it all wen't wrong. He just doesn't have the skill-set to play in that position.
He's currently with u19s in Estonia and from what I'm hearing he's not having a good tournament.

That makes it even more necessary to sell as many of them as we can. Jonjo, Lucas and Gerrard + 1 (Joe Allen or Suso is enough). Adam, Spearing, Henderson and Aquilani will probably be sold at some point. In the case of the later, nobody can afford him so a contract cancellation may be in order.
Early days yet, there's deals to be made and we have enough players to include in cash + player deals.

I can't see Henderson being sold, at least not yet. I think Rodgers will try and coax a bit more out of him in terms of forward play and trying things more often instead of playing it safe. He might come out of his shell and move up to the next level, he might not.
