I actually lost interest in that game after about sixty minutes.I had more fun beating the mancs 5:0 to be fair.
I know what you're saying, and that was very satisfying, but I feel sick when we're playing them, and even at about 3-0 up I can't relax. This was fun even at 1-3 down. And then we stuffed their feed the scousers and Gerrard songs right up their arses.I had more fun beating the mancs 5:0 to be fair.
That ended up being the most fun game of the season so far. We fucking battered them in the 2nd half. Crowd had a ball!
Look at the seats you got! you lucky git! What an end result!
This is my first time seeing a game go to penalties at Anfield, very happy to see the win after such a difficult first half. Seems Koumetio and Bradley are nowhere near ready for first team action, and Neco is defo not a winger
Positives: team spirit, the way we kept on fighting, Milner and Hendo leading the way, Jota really lifting the team, and winning of course.
Why was it that the crowd sounded so loud and vocal tonight?
I appreciate it was most likely because of @SummerOnions
Or were they louder because there was less tension and they were relaxed about the result one way or the other
Or was it because the crowd mikes turned up because it was on a different channel.
Any thoughts?
More first timers at the game? Tickets were easily available in the build up.Why was it that the crowd sounded so loud and vocal tonight?

I'd say a mix of loads more locals getting tickets and Xmas cheer and that general state of Xmas inebriation. Why was it that the crowd sounded so loud and vocal tonight?

I think partly the tension lifted yeah, but also less touristy and more local (90% of the kop was either wearing 110s or a black bubble coat)Why was it that the crowd sounded so loud and vocal tonight?

Plus the ubiquitous “ … feed the scousers … “I'd say a mix of loads more locals getting tickets and Xmas cheer and that general state of Xmas inebriation.
Yes, the 'you're not singing any more' was not Anfield's most innovative piece of lyricism, but tremendously satisfying.Plus the ubiquitous “ … feed the scousers … “
Leicester fans were utter cnuts.
Never in doubt.
What a difference this lad made as well tonight. What a player he can become.
Fucking crisp loving nonces the lot of emYeah, the atmosphere felt extra raucous even on the telly/stream. Maybe it’s the Leicester fans and their pro-Tory chants that got our fans going? Someone mentioned they even had a little chant about the the S*n - horribly backfired for them in the end.

Outstanding interview with Jon-Age, must watch:
Seeing Jota celebrating in front of the Leicester fans just made this wins so much sweeter.
I don't know if he heard what the away fans were singing or if he was getting some shit from the Leicester players, but he really got caught up in it.
Also showed a lot of passion when he scored at 1-3.
