No match threads this season! 😀
Maybe if we want the quadruple we should have one single massive thread where everything and anything is discussed. No post match thread either. Which is what got us 3rd last season.
We are all failing in Jons absence, he carried the torch for this place for so long alongside Jono, we've all gotta step up and make it happen now.No match threads this season! 😀
I can't believe that's the case. I only one one poster to be scared to do so...Maybe posters are afraid to start match threads nowadays for fear of all the stick they will get if we happen to lose. Not insisting on anything, but maybe, just maybe that whole jinx thing has been taken too far and in reality the team’s results are determined entirely by the performance of the players on the pitch rather than who among us starts the match thread or who is making pizza? Just a thought 😉

Lockdowns been tough on the SCM core attendance, the football was soulless and trash without the crowds, and I honestly didn't see myself being around that much this season. I'd become the proverbial Naby Keita on matchday this last year, invisible and barely present, however as soon as the game kicked off yesterday, and the crowd was there as it should be, there was only one place to be. It was nice to feel something for football again, I don't know if i'm alone in that feeling, but it's certainly why I've dropped off so much with this place recently.
Definitely right about who makes the threads ... but the pizza bit is taking it too far, that absolutely has an influence, especially if it has pineapple on it.Maybe posters are afraid to start match threads nowadays for fear of all the stick they will get if we happen to lose. I think 'soulless' was the word you were searching for.No, I'm with you. My love is returning, this last 18 months has been so utterly <word> (I have no idea what the word is!). I enjoyed Wimbledon, Silverstone and our first game. The biggie though was Sky's coverage of Spurs/Citeh. I loved the one-sided crowd reactions and the sheer numbers involved. THat stadium is insane and it's taken a pandemic for me to realise.
I'm flying solo now 'cos my Dad's gone and my boys are big into football, but this last week has been soooooooooooooo good. I'm now gagging to get back in the stands. I've moved to Bath so pretty much fuck all chance of that!
Love how all those who were done with the game 6 months ago are suddenly back in love after one game with fans 😀
I’m up for this season - mainly because I love to see my hopes and dreams get crushed in abject failure.
If Hal has gone to the light side... then it will fall on my to bring balance with the dark side.
But please.... don’t let Dreamie loose in match threads.... there is a limit to my powers and the amount of posters I can get Dantes to sacrifice.
Unfortunately with Dreamie you cannot kill that which is already braindead. 😀
I also think Dreamie may have bitten and infected Donner-van.
Yep.Same for me.It is a world of difference. I’ve watched more games with fans this weekend than any other weekend without fans.
