I'm going with:

--------------------Mignolet----------------
McLaughlin--Toure--Sakho-Johnson
---------------------Allen--------------------
----Henderson-Gerrard-Coutinho----
------------Suarez----Sturridge--------

.........................Ming........................

Johnson...Skrtel...Agger......Flanno

..............Allen.........Henderson........

...................Gerrard.........................

Suarez..........Studge..........Coutinho

The front four can more or less do whatever they want. I don't think we defended that badly overall against Everton bar a spell of 20 minutes second half, where balance went awol. It was an massively intense and lively game, always tough to keep chances low in an encounter like that.

Skrtel has been good this Season, more than one bad game for me to drop him. Agger can be a very important outlet from the back in a game we are going to dominate.

I think it's a must win - the FBs will stay as is, and I guess Rodgers has to decide if to keep the SKA partnership or not.

I think it's time we give Gerrard a rest here - let Allen play up front, with Henderson and Lucas behind him and the SAS frontline with Coutinho.

and Johnson's getting alot of leeway from me there, he was a joke yesterday, but we will boss the ball more against Hull, he's good when we have the ball.

No Lucas?

I think Gerrard will have had a week's rest so ought to be fine. Main problem with him, and one yet to be addressed, is that he's mentally going walkabouts too frequently.

No Lucas?
I only kept him out to make way for Allen to give him some playtime and confidence.

Harsh on Lucas, thought he was mostly decent against Everton and imo wrongly subbed. Will be less need for him in a game like this hopefully.

Mignolet
Johnson Agger Sakho Cissokho
Lucas Gerrard
Henderson Coutinho
Suarez Sturridge

Same formation as against Fulham.

No chance of McLaughlin making the first team, he hasn't even featured as a sub. Flanagan was on the subs bench before getting his first start this season. Would be very surprised if Rodgers plays McLaughlin this season.

I'd go for:

------------------Mignolet

Johnson---Agger----Sakho---Cissokho

------------Lucas------Gerrard
---------------Coutinho
Moses---------------------Suarez
---------------Studge

I'd like everyone who wants to play Lucas and Allen together to boil a large
pot of water and then sit in it.

Thanks in advance.

Haha, one thing that sticks out from last season is that Allen and Lucas as a midfield pair is utterly woeful and thats understating it, people forget i guess.

Because I'm a racist.

Also because I want a left footed player on the left and Hull are shit.
Agger is left footed. Flanno did very well in that position, as would Johnson and this allows someone else to play RB. I'd even entertain going to 3 at the back just to avoid playing Ally again.

Didn't we win last time he played? I think we kept a clean sheet too. Granted, he had a terrible game against Arsenal, who didn't? But I don't see him as that much of a liability.

Just because he was in the team that won our last game, doesn't mean he should play the next.

It'd be nice to see McLaughlin getting a game but I can't see it happening now. Perhaps in the cup.

Is Toure fit?

----------------------- Ming
Johnson -- Skrtel -- Sakho -- Flannagan
------------ Gerrard --- Henderson
-------- Suarez ---- Alberto ---- Coutinho
--------------------- Sturridge

Which he for some reason didn't. I'm not Cissokho's biggest fan, I'm not even sure if he's good enough to stay, but I really don't see Flanagan as the long term solution either, despite his solid performance at LB.
Enrique is gonna be out for a while so I think I'll go with the more experienced player.

Er, no. Go with the guy who's performing best during training, who's up for the game and fits in with Rodgers plan for Hull.
