our players, as always, have fuck all movement off the ball, hence sideways passing or forcing it forward and then losing it. any time a player receives the ball there should be 2 or 3 players getting into a position to get the ball. instead, they just stand there and watch. that's what rodgers needs to address more than anything if he wants to implement the style he's after
Spearing gives up the ball cheaply near our box, post gets hit by some Belorussian, their striker shanks it to the open player who shanks it wide.

I hope this game highlights to Rodgers why Carrager won't work in this system ... he plays so slowly. Spearing too.
