I'm hoping you're not serious. This time last season we were conceeding an average of 3 goals pr game.

Its pre season ffs.

Last season I listened (well not really) as people said it was as simple as the manager giving the players the right instructions and telling them to press high up the pitch, don't play long balls and all other sorts of bollocks.

If it is, why isn't Rodgers telling this bunch of cunts to do that ?
 
Now that Carra can't launch it forward he does nothing but pass it sideways. I guess that's progress, but it's very modest progress.

Sunderland (A)
Man Utd (H)

Aston Villa + Suarez, at the moment.

I completely agree. Pacheco at least looked lively and creative, with a nice turn of pace. Could he really be worse than Downing or Cole? Really?

And then what? When we play WBA with half a team in two weeks, everyone would be moaning. It might be a professional game, but we've still got to get players fit, we can't play friendlies over these 10 days because we've got two European games, so it's the only opportunity we've got to do this.

Someone should seriously watch a rerun of the shite we were dished up in our CL qualifiers under Rafa.

You can dress it up any way you like Ross. We've played 3 pre season games so far and will play 1 more after these two games against Gomel.
Regardless of it being a EL qual game we're bang in the middle of pre season.

Our main striker has played 28 mins of football so far, a couple of the other lads 40 odd minutes. If people believe that we wont look shite against players that have played loads of games more than us than so be it. Doesnt matter if you are superior in ability or technique as you just arent up to scratch yet.

I'm surprised you who know everything doesnt know that.
