So, anyone still on Ryan's 'Lucas Bandwagon'?

Josemi was a RB though. If he's in the worst ever list Jimmy Carter is. Let's create a Worst Ever LFC XI.

Arpexhead
Josemi
Kvarme
Piechnik
Dicks

Stewart
Carter
Momo
Babel

Dundee
Diomede
Diomede somewhere.
Agreed. He can replace Meijer. At least Erik had character.
Diomede led me to believe that John Otsemobor would set the world alight with his talents. He was really that bad.

Tanner has to be in there, anywhere across the back four. THE worst Liverpool player I've ever seen, in more or less half a century of watching us play.

I'm tempted to replace Kvarme with Tanner.

*goes to mull it over*

Whoever you choose, I reckon they would give our current XI a half decent game.

I was going to post something to that effect.

Haha

Who is the most *toweringly* shite central midfielder in Liverpool's modern-day history?

Candidates:

Brains
Lucarse
Diao
Paul Stewart

It's a tough one!

Any other truly shit players of the last 20 years we could include, or is that quartet of cunts sufficient?
Bruno fucking Cheyrou, at least Dio and Lucas tried. Brains should not be on that list.

Molby says tanner was the worst
Haha, yeah, wasn't it he who said Tanner somehow managed to come into training each day and look worse than the day before? ;D

Did you know he was earning £90K a week?

Wait a second, was anyone even on Ryan's divwagon?

And I think you'll find it was me who first called Lucas the insignificant cunt that he is, legend that I am, of course.
Behave Terrier, you've never called anything first in your entire life
Hahah....shall we sniff through those old threads from a couple of years back and name and shame?

Course, you'll get the usual embarrassing loons pretending that he was brilliant 'at the time.'

More RAWK comedy. This is from their fabulous Lucas thread:

"Have you noticed how in a match he sometimes wants to make a forward pass or otherwise but changes his mind in a split second and makes a different pass because the initial pass he wanted to make would not have been the right pass? With him it's all about making the right pass and positioning something that Gerrard can learn from him. That kind of decision making you just cannot teach"

What a bunch of cunts

I like Lucas more now than I did at the start of the season. Torres injury, nothing from out wide and Gerrard playing like a twat are what have cost us this season. Lucas hasn't always been blameless, but he's never hid and played with more heart than almost anyone else on the team.
Yeah I'm on whatever this bandwagon is. I don't mind him at all.

HAHA that is absolutely ridiculous.

That being said, I'm with Oncey. Still not a Lucas fan, still don't think he's good enough, but I actually like him more as time rolls on and as I like Rafa less. Still a long way to go, mind...

I preferred the bit where he compared Lucas' 'game intelligence' to Johan Cruyff.

I've GOT to see this. Anybody got a link?

This is so fucking depressing...

Mate, I am extremely surprised that a German doesn't rate Lucas, or at least doesn't appreciate his role in the team. I can understand some fans not rating him as he appears dispassionate and ponderous but, like Xabi, he has a first class football brain and Germany used to produce exactly this type of player by the bucket loads ... Schuster, Breitner, arguably Matthaus, Sammer, Brehme etc. As an aside, though a completely different player to Lucas, Schweini is one player I'd love to see playing for us... the guy is highly adaptable, intelligent and a monster on the pitch. .

Cruyff, my favourite player ever, used to say football is played in the head and for me, no one in the current Liverpool team epitomises it more than Lucas in terms of his mentality and understanding of his role. To see how my observation of his play matches with a lot of what the stats are saying about him is the best way, for me at least, to judge Lucas or any player for that matter.

But one thing stats can't measure as accurately is Lucas's appreciation for space and his positioning. If one thinks about it, the essence of tactics in any team sports is the exploitation, manipulation and control of space, which also happens to be the basis for zonal marking, and Lucas has a keen understanding of this fundamental concept, just like the aforementioned German legends. Have you noticed how in a match he sometimes wants to make a forward pass or otherwise but changes his mind in a split second and makes a different pass because the initial pass he wanted to make would not have been the right pass? With him it's all about making the right pass and positioning something that Gerrard can learn from him. That kind of decision making you just cannot teach.

I for one hope he goes on to establish himself as a great midfielder and if keeps on progressing as he has, that could be anytime soon.

How come Ryan doesn't post there?

It looks like his spiritual home?

That thread just goes to prove that the very best comedy is equal parts tragedy, pain and mental illness

What a pitiful twat that lad is. I assume he doesn't post here...

How did i miss this car crash of a thread!!
Yes lucas is not good enough for the first team, i think he's not even good enough to be in any part of the squad! But this thread is beyond embarrassing!

Well done brendan on starting one of the most predictable and tedious threads i think i have seen
Also congratulations on winning the pissing contest you have engineered for "Who can shout lucarse is shit the loudest" Well done you have well and truly excelled in plumming the depths with this!

Shelbyville is weird.

It never ceases to amaze me the things that people can keep making up to try and make Lucas look better than he is.

Posting on RAWK is like thos 'GangBang 300' movies. No matter how good your effortand aim is, it's just gonna get lost amongst the other 300 lumps of spunk dumped on it at exactly the same time.
