We are doing everything right - the attitude is right etc, but we're just a poor outfit for many reasons.

I've already come to terms with them scoring early in the 2nd half and Ramsdale saving everything after that.
Our system in attack is pretty much 3-2-5 - almost a copy of Guardiola’s classic system at City. Salah is staying wide a la Mahrez, Robbo is playing a wing-forward on the other side, Mane, Jones and Firmino and all intermittently playing between the lines. It makes sense because neither Firmino, nor any other strikers we have are likely to win physical battles against United CBs - so better go “strikerless” and flood the zones in front of the penalty area. Let’s hope it bears fruit in the 2nd half!

It's a pity because he could seemingly rescue his career here with a serious run of form in the 2nd half ... but he's no longer capable of putting a string of GOOD performances together, let alone a string of games with more than a few good moments.
