Exactly, I'm not sure you can sustain these kinds of annual losses, and then claim the "lizards" are out to shaft us. It's a bit 'conspiracy" type wishful, David, no?
Operating losses or profits don't tell the value of the football club. They are just a snapshot of activity.
The owners have a vastly more valuable asset than the money they paid for it.
They can well afford to invest further.
They have invested money. Given how shit our transfers are, I am not surprised they are a bit wary of investing more. I dont blame them for not throwing more money at the club. However they do face a little bit of the blame for creating the organizational structure which has led us to finishing below Spurs consistently. And if we do badly next season, that is completely on FSG and their inaction this summer.
As several have said, the 'review' is way too short and superficial. And it has the wrong people present. Imagine if they asked Rodgers about tactics. He could easily just talk them into submission. I guess their relative ignorance might have led to some good 'cut the crap' questions, but generally there's no one among the group who'd be able to really challenge Rodgers once he gets going. Fans could, but not Werner or Gordon. If they're going to take those things seriously they need a proper football man to help them. Dein knew enough to challenge Wenger every now and again. Werner's never going to have a clue.
I would say its a bit mad that the manager of a half a billion pound football club has a review that lasts for 2 hours.
Mine last a fucking day and im responsible for fuck all.
Frank de Boer said a "molfie" was a coffee requested by someone mid blow job??Frank de Boer said almost exactly the same thing the other day. He wants to stay but will leave if the board want him to.
