If this Fanni is solid defensively and we are able to sell Johnson on a decent fee and invest that money to strengthen other areas then I'm all for it.

Johnson is more of a problem than he is an asset atm and it could be a right time to cut our losses.

Consistency is what makes a player 'worldclass'. He hasn't achieved it. He also cannot defend that well, which is another slight problem.

What were Mr & Mrs Fanni thinking of when naming their son Rod? The family name is unavoidable, but they've gone and compounded it with 'Rod'. Jeesus - he'll get a hard (giggles) time if he ever comes to Ingerlund.

Well Andy Johnson is reportedly unhappy at Man City so maybe we could sign him. I reckon Roy would love to get his hands on another Johnson. With two Johnsons either side of Fanni he'd have a lot more joy and things would be a lot more dynamic at the front and the back.
 
But two Johnsons could just prove to be too hot for Fanni to handle. Fanni needs some protection from being doubled up.
 
Roys going to have to spunk more than the reported amount of moolah on Fanni, Rennes will see him coming.

But maybe Roy knows his Johnson isn't working... which is why he's looking at Fanni!

If he can't get his Johnson to work, then considering Fanni might be his only option!

Getting Fanni in might stimilate his Johnson to work... although his Johnson might feel over-pressurised by Fanni to deliver the goods..

If Roy's Johnson can't come up with the goods even when under pressure by Fanni, then you have to questions his Johnson's ability!

Kelly, in the long term, will be a centre back, cos that's his position.
 
I can't wait for Fanni to be unveiled at Anfield. I'll be right behind Fanni from word go.

My only worry would be other players going down on Fanni if Fanni liked the sliding hard tackle. Moreover, should Fanni be left wide open if Maxi goes missing, it would be an open invite to the opposition to target Fanni in numbers and with pace and penetration - messy. We might find opposing managers fingering Fanni as the one to double up on and be toyed with.
