So there strong rumours coming out of Spain that Benitez is going to go after Robben in the summer. Both AS an Marca are reporting that he is preparing a 20mil bid.

Do you want the guy to be at Anfield next season.

For all the diving i would love to see him here, although i think a fair few fans would hate it. He is the kind of player we have lacked since the days of Oyvind Leonh....... Sorry meant McMannaman, a really player that can beat his man and get a cross in. And also some real flair and skill from the wing.

I think he would love to come aswell, he wouldn''t have to take his annual arse kicking in the champs leauge neither.

What an odd post. It's strange enough to confuse Leonardson with McManaman because they were completely different players but it's stranger still to leave in your mistake. Perhaps you were posting on a type writer and didn't have any liquid paper to hand.

What's everyone's mental image of Wilko? I see him as one of those boring, sarcastic, pedantic old bastards who inevitably end up filling jobsworth positions in major bureaucracies. Customs officer, perhaps, or unemployment benefits officer.

Or the smelly old English teacher who everyone hates.

And who will now be fighting the urge to correct that 'who' to 'whom'.

I see him looking something akin to this:

And every time he posts I find all happiness and my will to live ebb away.

Then I eat some chocolate and practice saying Expecto Patronum! again and again

first, did not realize that he was that young, second thanks for calling me names for that, and third i still don't want him here
So he's too old for the Premier League, yet you don't know how old he is?

Bilko is the most tedious bellend on this site, and always has been

He is so irrepressibly dull and irritating that I almost like him these days

Ah right so he wasn't taking the piss he is just the resident wacko.

I sometimes wonder if he is a truly from Liverpool as he says.

I've never met a Scouser ex or otherwise that is so lacking any sort of humour whatsoever

Think about it.

Will Rafa buy Robben?

or is this a diversion tactic?
A smokescreen, if you will?

Dunk, is that you?
LOL, you can fuck off with that. Never been to that site I may add, thankful to from what I have read.

I don't think Rafa would buy Robben due to him being a selfish player, injury prone etc. But i do think Rafa might throw a few names about in the press subtly.

Brilliant! My career is a little different to those mentioned above however I always enjoy reading these perceptions of my online image.

I really couldn't care that he's a cunt, if we signed him. Because he is one of the best wingers in world football, can score goals, create goals and play everywhere in attack. He's exactly the type of winger we need, and would bring a new dimension to our attacking play.

As long as he doesn't interfer with our great team morale and attitude, but sticks to being a team player, then sign.

Im quite surprised that people are mocking the £20m price tag. We're talking about Real Madrid's best player this season along with Casillas here and someone on the wing who would fly past players and score/set up goals for fun. Ronaldo and Ribery are also cunts but id love to sign them to.

Well if we end up with more Riera/Benayoun types instead of one of the best wingers in the world im not going to be happy. People make me laugh complaining that we have the likes of Kuyt et al on the wings all season long and then turn their noses up at the prospect of Robben playing for us.
why is ribery a cunt?
Well he's fucking French for starters! ;D

Why the fuck do we want him for? Overrated, not a team player, doesn't show up when playing against good team and injury prone. I'd spend little bit more on Ribery.

Manchester City are chasing Real Madrid winger Arjen Robben.

The People says former Chelsea winger Robben, 25, would cost at least £16million - £8m less than Real paid two seasons ago - when the transfer window opens at the end of the season.

Real Madrid will have a firesale of stars - including Robben - as they plan to fund a new bid for AC Milan star Kaka.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is also keen on Robben, though the Dutchman's performance at Anfield in the Champions League has given him second thoughts.

16 mill, if he's availeble for that, then yes please.

The journalist is a mind reader.

I'm not sure about Robben as far as injuries go.
I'd like to have him here as he is a quality player, but I think he'd be out a fair bit.
Very brittle.

Why do people drag up old threads like this? Surely it's easier to start a new one than to find something that was talked about in bloody March. I log in and see 5 pages worth of a Robben thread and want to slit my wrists as I think we're being linked to the diving, cheating, balding cunt.

He may stay at Real Madrid, he may move on but he's sure as fuck not coming here. If we had been interested in any Madrid player we surely would have made them part of the Alonso discussions.
